Basic HD TV

It does not have any smart features which, if you already have an apple tv or Roku box you don't need them anyway. The picture is great out of the box but, with some tweaking it is amazing. The speakers are average but can definitely fill the room if you want. I opted for a soundbar. Overall, for the price it really can't be beat. I got this on a black Friday special.

55" insignia tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This tv is better than I thought it would be as I've been using Samsung tvs the past 10 yrs only but I didn't want a smart tv because I didn't want to be limited to the brands apps so my friend who worked at Best Buy told me to try this brand that is made by Best Buy which I didn't know and I'm so glad I did. I Would definitely buy this brand again

Good picture but

When looking in the store the picture actually looked better than the Vizio next to it. I’ve had it for like 2 years no with no problems. The only issue is the fact that the sound quality sucks so bad. Like volume 70 is like 10. I have a soundbar anyway so idc

The only downside is it does not have any volume controls on the tv. The only button on the tv is power and input. Everything else is controlled with the tiny remote that my kids loose constantly so I'm stuck watching a too loud or too quiet tv. Otherwise, great purchase so far!

Large and bright, not to heavy

I waited a long time to set up Direct TV remote to operate this unit because it seemed difficult. It was actually very easy. I am disappointed and annoyed when I watch programs and you can see a shadow following the motion. I have not seen this on live sports very much. I would probably have picked a different TV if I knew this before buying.
