The picture and sound are great on this tv. And it was a great price too. We also purchased the 5 year geek squad protection so we are worry-free about the tv for years to come. Our LG lcd tv died after 2.5 years.

Not top of the line, but definitely not the bottom. I'm satisfied with it for the amount I paid. I will need a sound bar for mediocre speakers....but decent picture. No problems so far. I do hate that there aren't any buttons to control the TV when my children misplace the remote....and app from my phone doesn't work on this T.V. other than that it's great.

Easy installation and picture quality is amazing!!!

After mounting and hooking up all the HDMI cables I turned it on. To my surprise there was no volume. It wasn't until I turned it down and then up that the volume came on. No I found that if I turn on the tv then the direct tv then the volume is ok. Is this normal for a new tv? Probably not. The sound is good and the picture is fantastic. Overall very satisfied.

I saw this TV online, read the reviews, and essentially took a chance that it would be a decent product based on the cost which was incredibly low. It turned out much better than I expected. The picture clarity and sound quality, combined with the price, justified the gamble. I continue to be thoroughly impressed.

Overall I am very happy with the new TV. Sound is better than expected, picture quality very good, but.......the one disappointing aspect of the TV is the legs/support system. We bought this for the family room and the width of the individual legs was wider than the TV stand we had. If I had my choice I would buy a TV with a center pedastal vs. "legs".

Caught this item on sale (alerted by the CNET Cheapskate emails); ordered, picked up at store - easy transaction, even easier set up, my daughter now calls this monster the "alternate light source." It is big and clear enough to highlight the lack of resolution in our older home videos - but no fault of the TV!

Color clarity ease of operation and price for 55 in tv excellent

TV has a very clear, sharp picture, with very nice color. Very easy set up, just attach feet with supplied screws. 55" tv comes in large box which is hard to handle by one. Unboxed tv itself can be can be managed by one. Open box pull out packing, gently lay flat on floor, tilt box up and slowly pull box away from tv. Easier for two to wall mount. Color, tint, background, sharpness, and sound were easy to adjust via on screen menu via remote. Has 3 HDMI ports, cable, power cord, and rca connections for dvd/blue ray, gaming stations. Hooking up everything took just a minute. Using in attic den and music room. Would use in larger room also. Suprised, satisfied by tv sound quality and loudness. Purchased based on review with some skepticism. Tv was on sale for $329.00 and used a coupon. Very pleased and satisfied with picture color, clarity, sharpness, and quality so far. Has run nightly for three weeks without any problems. Probably better tvs with better pictures, but for me I'm very satisfied. This tv is a great purchase for the price. Would buy again.
