I viewed this television online before I went in the store to purchase it. The television had a lot of positive reviews plus I owed one other insignia brand television. The picture is crystal clear and very vivid. Definitely a great buy and I will continue to buy insignia brand televisions from Best Buy.

Great TV off brand Great price point for size and TV model

This TV is huge! I had a 42 inch prior to this one. It was the same TV just smaller. This 55 inch seems sooo much bigger! It definitely is movie quality. I have a surround sound hooked up to it also which makes the whole experience 10 times better. The surround sound came from Best Buy as well!

Good size for price. Clear picture and easy set up.

Purchased this for my Mom, as we all gather at her house often enough to make it worth it. It's not the absolute best picture I've ever seen, and it's not a smart TV... but for our use it's excellent. We watch a lot of football and baseball, as well as kids shows and the picture is great.

This is the 2nd Insignia brand TV that I've purchased and the other is still going strong after many years...great value for the money and it is very comparable to other name brand at a the fraction of the price...I would definitely purchase another Insignia upon my next television need

I purchased this HDTV specifically because it wasn’t a smart tv. The apps I use with my TV are already on my computer and gaming consoles, so why pay for something I didn’t need? The picture quality is great, the audio is better than expected. I really don’t have any complaints.

can't keep up with fast action on broadcast tv, constant shadows. does better with most dvds, so could be poor quality HD broadcast. audio selection screen pops up every time you turn on tv, too stupid to remember selection if you leave audio out cable connected. overall an acceptable picture, especially considering the price.

Great tv for a low price. It is not a smart tv. This is a good thing since we have an apple tv and smart tvs suck. It is a beautiful 55 inch HD tv with great sound and great picture.

Brought it home as a gift for my grandparents. Setup was easy but when I went to set the Direct TV remote I found that the satelite company does not have the Insignia brand in the list to work with the remote.

Its just the right size for my living room , the sound is okay ,picture is good enough for my eyes , it has enough connections for the things I have to hook up and my WD live makes it smart enough to do all I need it to do . For the price range and size if it lasts a couple years it will be a good TV till time to upgrade

I love this TV. Set up was easy enough. The picture quality is amazing, the dark colors seem correct/dark enough, and there's very little shadowing if any (for TV, movies, and even Xbox). The remote is tiny, which can be good or bad at times. All in all, for the price, it's great.

Worth every penny fantastic picture great sound. This 55 inch panel television cost less than $400. It has a fantastically shark picture fantastic sound and is versatile and an absolutely great deal. The Geek Squad installed it for me and did a fantastic job for an additional price

I got this TV for my mom on her birthday last year. I couldn't believe they had a TV this big for $399! My mom loves her TV and now I find myself watching TV at her house more than mine! Next time I catch this TV around this price I will be getting one for myself.

I have better and much more expensive 4K and HD TV's in my home. Purchased this model in the 55" size on sale for my office. Are there better HD TVs out there... sure. However, for about $329, I challenge anyone to find a better picture-value in a HD TV. Thanks Best Buy !!!
