Good easy flat screen for a bedroom or bonus room.

This was a great addition. Picture is really good.

Bought this t.v. for my parents who are not technology savvy and they were able to set it up all by themselves. It has great clarity and an all around awesome buy for the money.

Great value for a basic Flat screen HDTV for the price in 2016. Screen quality was already showing its age then and more so now. Won’t play HD channels, time for an upgrade.

Blue rays and Xbox one looks good as do most shows however I have noticed that some shows are pixelating and not the best quality. For example American ninja warrior did not look good. Not sure why? But the tv was $299 on sale so can really complain much.

We get a sharp, beautiful picture (couldn't ask for better) with Geek Squad service if anything ever goes wrong, at a reasonable price. We're very happy with our decision.

I really like how easy it is. It was cheap and I didn't care that it wasn't a smart tv because I already have appletv!! I would buy another one or two for my kids rooms if I could find the same deal.

Wife wanted a monitor bigger than the little 20+ inchers, so got her this. Easy setup, computer plugged into the HDMI and off she went, watching streaming videos off the net. Clear pictures, sound output good for the room its' in. With additional input sources, will eventually plug in more. For the price paid, I am extremely pleased. This is the 3rd Insignia purchased for 'monitors' and am happy with all of them.

Third time is the charm! I recently wanted to upgrade the TV size in my living room. First, I bought a 4K LG 55 inch with all the bells and whistles. I was less than impressed with the picture quality, and I returned it . The second TV was a 55 inch Insignia and the picture quality was horrible! It too was returned. Then I bought the Samsung 55 inch and fell in love. The picture quality is excellent. I love this TV! The smart hub is a little slow in starting up, but in the general scheme of things it does not affectt my enjoyment of this TV. The Best Buy staff was amazing in all of my purchases and returns.

My Mom moved into anew place and wanted a new TV but didn't need any smart options. The picture is good and sound is good for today's TV footprint. She thought she didn't need anything bigger than 40" but liked the larger size when we set it up. Setup was easy

Bought for older parent , easy to use and looks good. Picture is sharp and clear , sound could be a little better but overall a good product for the price..

So far so good! I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for our 11 yr old DLP which finally died. The kids use it for gaming and we occasionally watch movies and sports on it. I have a Chromecast so I knew I didn't need a smart TV. Just basic, reliable 1080p. This is becoming harder and harder to find! All the new tech is going in to 4k sets. I love this TV. I think the picture is fabulous. It has more HDMI inputs than most. Viewing angle is good. The frame is nice and understated. The stand is sturdy. I hope it lasts, as I feel like I just got a bargain.

Got 3 of these 55" 1080p TVs at $300 each. (2 for the church) These are good basic TVs with 3 HDMI inputs, but no network Apps. If you need the apps for Netflix or YouTube, almost all BlueRay players have them, or you can use a USB dongle.

I have bought the Insignia brand before so I was confident of the quality. We couldnt beat the price. The picture quality is great and easy install.

Works perfectly as a monitor for my laptop. There's no need these days for a smart TV, especially since many of the computers in smart TVs crash easily. I just use my laptop via an HDMI cable. There's wireless options available also.

These days you can get a 1080p panel for cheep like this one, of corse you won't get smart tv features at all but in a since if you just get a chromecast for $35 it becomes one. better than my other smart tv that i bought in 2015 too

I bought this model after the previous one was discontinued. I've had it for a month and like it a lot. This model has 2 10 w speakers instead of one like the previous model so the sound is actually better than I thought it would be. No bells and whistles on this set, but I didn't need them. Good HD picture and a great price for a 55" HD TV. Free delivery was on time and they set it up in 15 minutes. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is my 3rd Insignia tv. I also have two smaller ones. They seem to be good televisions. This isn't a top of the line tv like my Samsung that died after 8 years but it was a third of the price as the old one. The tv suits my needs for a large screen television. The thing I do notice with all my Insignias is that the previous channel button only goes to the previous channel that day while you're watching the tv. It won't go to the previous channel you had watched the day before.

I bought the insignia 55 inch TV for my game room, only thinking the quality was sufficient for the space, I was amazed at the quality of the picture once I mounted it.Far better than I expected for a TV of this price range. Very satisfied with the purchase
