The picture quality is good, but you can tell a difference from higher end models. Overall I would recommend this tv if you are on a budget or just don't feel like spending a ton of money on a tv.

Once I got it all set up, it worked great right out of the box. Of course it's not going to have the greatest picture in the world (especially with 4K out now) or the best sound, but personally I think it's a fantastic value and I've never been disappointed by any Insignia product I've ever owned. It only loses a point because the volume seems slightly weaker than the 50" that is mounted in my living room, so I had to turn it up louder while working on other things in the room.
