Overall all flat screens have bad audio; I guess they want you to by "sound bars". I just don't understand the practice of providing a good product with a serious flaw. The true test will be time. Will the Insignia outlast my old LG, which dies after three (3)years. Just like most do. Overall I am satisfied with the TV it works as advertised and has a great picture. It's just my iPhone has better speakers.
