I bought a Canon DSL camera and wanted to have a protective Len to protect my kit Len. This serves the purpose and have the uv filter.

On vacation and was worried by the weather about damaging my lens. Went to Best Buy and got this clear lens filter and worked solidly.

The Insignia™ NS-UVF58 58mm UV lens is what I have been looking for to keep the lens clean and prevent the lens from getting scratched.

Keeps my Rebel T3's lens clean and smudge free! Loved the price and convenience of it screwing right over my Canon's actual lens.

As is with almost any product, you often pay for what you get. Sure, sometimes you pay extra for the brand name and sometimes it is worth it. In this case, the INSIGNIA UV Filter seems to do an adequate job for my needs. The most important job is protecting the camera lens! I am a novice photographer, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong - I seem to get a moderate amount of condensation (fogging) of the filter when using in the evening under slightly damp conditions. I did purchase a lens cleaner that seems to delay the time to condensation. Other than that, I have been happy with this filter - doesn't distort the photos and perhaps does seem to "sharpen" a bit. For the price, can't beat it.

Taking photographs can be fun, but if you scratch a lens, it's costly. Making this purchase was the best thing I've ever done.

I have these UV filters on all of my lenses. I have 7 lenses and have not had any problems with them. They do what they are supposed to.

Wanted lens protection for my dslr so the lens wouldn't get scratched. It works great. Need to get another for my larger lens.

This came with the bundle that I did, it doesn't even fit my lense. I have no use for it. I still have it, but cannot use it. I cannot give an actual review on whether it does its job or if it is worth spending money on because I cannot use it.

I use this filter to provide protection for my lens. It keeps the lens from getting scratched and also keeps it dust free.

Not only did it save my actual camera lens from being broken, but you know it's also a UV filter, so that's cool, too.

Didn't notice a picture quality difference but I believe it blocks some sunlight and I mostly liked that it protects my lens from getting scratched/damaged by sand/dust/etc.

The lense filter is a good quality glass, this UV lens filter effectively minimizes haze and glare caused by ultraviolet light.

Camera lens filter is a blessing to have. Protects the lens which are very delicate and not to mention expensive.

I PURCHASED THIS FILTER TO PROTECT MY NEW NIKON 50MM LENS. I LOVED IT SO MUCH I PURCHASED ANOTHER FOR MH KIT LENS.

this uv filter is clear, the ring is narrow, and appears to be well made. I get no distortion when using it with my canon lens

Buying a filter at Bestbuy is a great choice. It protects expensive lenses from damage. We never leave our lenses uncovered.

Perfect fitment and very clear. 10/10 product. Just make sure you know what size lens you have prior to purchase.

I bought this as a UV filter and protection for my lenses. Serves both purposes admirably, without spending a lot.
