Don't need with DSLR cameras

Great clarity, and needed protection

During that time I never had a lens without a UV filter on it. The primary reason? To protect the glass of the lens. UV filters are vital if you care about your most important photography investments.

This is a no-brainer to buy and protect your investment and this is truly a clear uv lens. I won't be without this on my camera, ever.

Great for day shots, not so much in the evening...

Do Not Buy! it will break!

The glass just fell out and best buy wouldn't let me switch it out because of no recipt. This is a best buy brand. They need to stand by their products instead of hiding behind a piece of paper.
