LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My mom bought an Insignia (Best Buy's own brand) tv 10 yrs or so ago. The picture went out on it last week, so she purchase another Insignia 50 tv to be delivered next day. Her old tv had a sticker with Best Buy's website to check recycling of that tv. It said that their brand and under 49", they took for free recycling. So, I loaded it up, took it back to the Hickory, NC store it was purchased from, for them to inform me that I had to pay $35 for them to take their own tv, size 48", back to recycle. Despite what their website said or that my mom had just purchased another tv from them, they wanted $35 or refused to take the tv back. I called corporate and they did nothing either! I tried to cancel the order for the new tv, but they had already taken the money out of my mother's account and said it would take 7-10 days to get it back. We left the order, because I didn't want her to be out a tv and the money. I can promise you one thing, my mom nor I will ever buy anything from Best Buy again!! VERY VERY SORRY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR OWN STORE/CORPORATE POLICIES

Complete joke!!!

Says it's available to me for 6 months for free but will not go to my cart, I was on live chat with support yesterday for over an hour and was transferred 7 times and had to start over with each person every single time!! WITH ZERO HELP or solution!! Was told to add the SKU # manually and even THAT did not work!! Complete joke!!! What did I waste my money on this membership for anyway...its useless!! Nothing works...
