in the specs listed it states this tv supports HDR10 video and supports HDR10 for gaming and it does and it certainly does. it also supports 4k 10-bit for video and games as well. this tv will support anything an xbox one x can throw at it.

I’m writing this a few months after purchasing. I personally love the picture quality of this TV, it has a better HDR setting than any other TV I’ve owned. I have 3 complaints with it though. It advertises as having 120hz & it does not. It’s artificially 120hz so it will not give you 120hz natively. The built in smart TV settings are god awful but that doesn’t mean much to me because I use my Xbox anyways. It also doesn’t handle reflections all that well but also, not that big of a deal. Other than those things, I would highly recommend this TV.

I have 2 of the Vizio E55-F1 tv’s which I have always thought to have an amazing picture. Then I got the 65” M Series and my life changed lol No but really the picture is amazing, you notice some simple things appear more brighter in color and vibrant such as the logos for Apps on Smartcast the Netflix and Hulu apps logo colors are so much more brighter now. Now to move on to the watching TV I like to use action packed scene from Avengers end game to adjust my tv settings and let me tell you the picture just jumps out at you straight out the box. This is just amazing especially considering this is not the Flagship TV from Vizio. PS I have friend who has the P Series, he won’t go to another brand now after having such an amazing picutre and experience with this tv My only Con would be Smartcast, sometimes it has hiccups that are very annoying but nothing a $30 firestick can’t fix and/or replace and the remote could be better Overall I’d buy it again no doubt

As they work to clearance out the 2019 models, now is the time to buy. These quantum dot TVs have great picture. The HDR and Dolby Vision and picture for the price cannot be beat. SmartCast is ok but an Apple TV or roku or fire tv can beat it as you can’t install or delete SmartCast channels

This TV is GORGEOUS. I didn't want to put up the money for OLED, and Quantum is very nearly just as great. Game latency is handy for gaming, has all the latest apps and Smartcast for streaming from your device. The only downfall is Vizio's interface. It's laggy and has a delayed, slow response when scrolling through it. That awful soap opera, artificial frame rate filter isn't available if you're looking for it. Overall, EXCELLENT value and I'm so happy choosing this for amazing color, dimming, and 4k.

I actually had a V series TV from a different store and was not happy with the colors I was seeing. I bought the M series to compare the two and could notice the difference right away. I'm sure the PX series is much better, but I'm not willing to pay that much for a TV anymore. I'm happy with the apps on the TV and streaming capability from the iPhones and Androids in my home. The Xbox games look amazing. Viewing angle is impressive. I wish the remote lit up so I could see it in the dark, but non of the Vizio remotes do.

Picture quality is amazing. The app selection is expansive and quite useful. The tv is fairly quick for coming on and general responsiveness for app. It also has an easy setup and configuration. Downside every now and then it glitches and viewing from wider angles the colors Look more and more washed out. This is due to the technology employed. My personal gripes and nothing to judge the tv on is I would love for Roku and Apple TV support get added and the remote be backlit. It’s early yet let’s see how things go a year from now.

I’ll keep this short. I do my research before any purchase. This tv has very good reviews, especially at its price point. Below you will find good and bad points. Good: Excellent picture quality Good HDR Excellent price point Bad: The built in software is absolute garbage The tv won’t turn on often and needs to be unplugged and recycled TV often turns on by itself I would not buy this tv again but I’m satisfied with it given the price point.

I bought the 65" version of this TV (M658). I is very important to note on the model number the one that ends in an 8 is the higher end version of this M line. There are two more models of this same line that end in 7 and 6 each one being a bit lower end. They have fewer dimming zones and peak brightness than the model ending in 8. The picture quality is awesome on regular 4k and HDR, specially in Dolby Vision. Full HD upscalling is pretty good, but it just depends on your source. Netflix, Hulu, and Prime video all look excellent on this TV. The only thing that I don't really like is the OS that the TV uses. It is laggy and takes a long time to load content when compared to other models. I just bought an Amazon Fire TV 4k and that solved that problem. Main reason I bought this TV was for the price, Dolby Vision, size of the display and excellent image quality.

This TV is awesome! 4K and upconvert from regular signals offer amazingly clear and bright picture. Setup was easy as we were upgrading from an older 55” Vizeo. I was just informed that the smart TV app for Amazon video will no longer be supported; I get this through my cable provider so it does not impact me. Built in Chromecast allows you to cast Facebook videos and other Chromecast enabled apps. YouTube has dozens of 4K videos and Netflix/Amazon have many 4K movies and shows, and for regular HD programs it does an upconvert that makes the picture outstanding. I use the Vivid setting and then adjust the colors a bit to tone it down a bit. I give it five stars!

This is my first 4k set and have been looking at different options from Samsung, LG, Vizio and others but at the price point, Samsung and LG TV's were just OK. I didn't want to spend more for a Samsung QLED and the LG OLED was way out of my price range, but for this price point, this Vizio has amazing picture quality that rivals that of the mid-range Samsung QLEDs. The blacks are deep, the colors are vibrant and th TV has enough features to always give you something to watch. The Vizio M Series is an amazing value and one that any one should consider if they don't want to break the bank.

I've only had the TV for 2 months and the speakers are rear facing and not loud at all, had to get a sound bar to upgrade the sound. Also the size is great but starting to see white light in the edges of the right side and bottom of the screen. Set up was super easy. For the price, I could have went with a different brand. But was willing to give Vizio a chance. Lucky for me i purchased 2 years of geek squad coverage

This TV has been reviewed on line as one of the top 65” TVs under $1000. The reviews are true. I love the picture which is amazingly sharp, clear and has perfect black tones and color rendering. I have it hooked to a sound bar so won’t judge the sound, but its sound through my sound bar is also great. The ability to do Apple Airplay natively makes it a perfect companion to my mobile devices. It also has an Android casting ability. My only disappointment is the remote which has no voice capability, but given that I have it hooked to an Apple TV 4K makes that a minor inconvenience. It wasn’t just a good buy; it was the Best Buy I could find anywhere in person or online.

I finally made the upgrade to 4K with this set and I could not be happier. The black levels are very black, and although it doesn’t get as bright as an OLED you will find little to complain about. The smart tv software that comes standard with Vizio sets are ok but a device like Apple TV or using an Xbox are better in my opinion. The picture is excellent when viewing material in 4K. Put on “Our Planet” on a Netflix of you want to impress your friends and to show off the true strength of the set. As with all 4K sets, the best picture you will get is from a 4K blu Ray instead of an app. I do not have any regrets over this purchase. You are getting a $1200 TV for half the price.

I really love this TV. Very vibrant color and pretty good sound out of the speakers. I got a 4K box through my cable company and you can totally see the difference with 4K broadcasts. My only issue, and this seems to be the case with many TVs like this, is the random turning on at night. I've disabled CEC, moved to an unused HDMI signal when turning off, I even disabled a few things on the cable box, but it still seems to turn on from time to time. I don't think Vizio has figured it out, but I know that folks have made them aware.

Vizio M-class still an all-around good performer

I've owned a few Vizio M-class TV's over the years, and generally they are the bang for the buck model in Vizio's lineup--they are one of my go-to models for recommending to others. Pros: Superb contrast ratio from effective local dimming system with very deep blacks, brilliant wide color gamut for HDR, brightness is very solid with SDR content for a well-lit room and while not a light cannon like some higher end TVs, like Vizio's own P Quantum series, it provides just enough HDR brightness to make an appreciable difference. Decent reflection handling as well. All four HDMI ports are 2.0, and with gaming mode enabled, does not feel laggy with gaming. Dolby Vision support along with HDR10 and HLG, so good coverage of HDR standards. Cons: Only a native 60Hz TV, so motion handling will compare somewhat unfavorably to native 120Hz models, but will do 24p correctly for film based sources via built-in app or from a disc. No support for motion interpolation (soap opera effect), but that may not be a con for many people. (I personally dislike it.) Noticeable "dirty screen effect" in panning shots, but not the worst I've seen. This will vary from panel to panel, and its impact will depend upon the content viewed. (Sports, sometimes, movies less so.) Side to side angles are acceptable for a VA panel (which gives the great contrast), so image is best when relatively head on to the screen. Someone with a very wide seating arrangement *may* find an IPS-based LCD a better fit, although you will sacrifice contrast to get it. Other notes: A big caveat: the Vizio M-series 2019 is really two different lines: models ending in 8 that have listed support for "Ultrabright 600" and ones that end in 7 that are "Ultrabright 400." Make sure you know what you're getting because the performance is likely to vary. Vizio oughtn't do this as the average consumer will likely miss this. Remote is basic but functional, with shortcuts to most major apps and functions. Vizio app on phone is useful as well and gives access to a plethora of calibration options, although I suspect most will find defaulting to Calibrated or Calibrated Dark presets most useful for an decently accurate image. (The Vivid preset is very bright, but the colors are off to my eyes.) Smart OS has the basics covered with built-in apps: Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Vudu and a few others, but the built-in Chromecast has access to a vast array of apps. I had a bit of difficulty at times with my casting devices seeing this on the network, but the issue seems to have resolved itself. I can't speak to sound quality--I use a soundbar--but assume like most flat panels it's unlikely to blow you away. Bottom line: The M-class from Vizio, once unrivaled in value, faces stiff competition from Chinese manufacturers like Hisense and TCL, but still offers great bang for buck as an all-around good performer across a variety of content. Very pleased with the purchase.

Vizio came out with a winner with this 2019 M model after 4 months I am still amazed at the difference Quantum Dot Color makes you will see colors like never before and your old movie collections will keep surprising you seeing the color you never knew they contained. Also the dimming zones do make a difference in deeper blacks medium setting seems to work best. I am Very pleased with this picture quality after looking at them side by side before buying you would have to get a really high priced OLED to get a better picture.

Very happy with the picture, and ease of set up. The only gripe I have is the limited applications loaded on the TV. There is no ability to delete or add additional applications. Also on rare occasions, the TV will randomly turn off from within an application, return to the SmartCast home page while watching a show, or lockup where you have to turn off the TV to do anything.

The TV Is Amazing for the price of $650 when i bought it and i believe will still be worth the price of what it is now around $750. A few times the TV did have a problem but i solved them quickly. The image is amazing and the back lighting is amazing in many tv's the black bars are full of light but on this tv it close to a oled tv very few time did the blacks look bright. The TV Speakers aren't the best but when gaming they sound better don't know why. Gaming in this TV is Great and Haven't seen any problems like latency. The OS of this TV is not the best its slow and has many problems. Overall this Tv was a great buy if you ever see the TV at the price of $650 Get it, any TV that has the same price most likely won't compare to this one.
