Haven't really got to use yet but sure it's great.

Not a high end as i would have expeted from Yamaha

I had some inital problems setting this system up as I was trying to make the sub-woofer and the rear speakers wireless. The system did not like this at all and would not reconize these speakers until I hard wired them in.

Solid sound system for the money. Set up is a little more advanced since it's not plug and play. You have to buy the wire and wire it up yourself but it's simple once you learn how.

Just what we were looking for, price was comparitive to other places, did wish it was a little cheaper. It does come with 100 ft wire, the box doesn't say that and our associare didn't know.

The setup and functionality are easy to work with. The subwoofer breaks up some at higher volumes, but you get what you pay for in this case. All in all a good system without breaking the bank.

We purchased this home theater "in a box" to replace an aging Bose Lifestyle unit that had no HDMI inputs. The most important specification when choosing this system was multiple HDMI inputs because we were tired of having to use a HDMI switcher (Our TV only has 2 HDMI inputs and we have 5 HDMI devices. We also had a HDMI to analog audio adapter in play because of the lack of HDMI or digital audio inputs on the Bose receiver we replaced.). We also bought the entire package because Bose systems (in the generation we bought) are (mostly) proprietary in the fact that speaker cables run through the subwoofer before they go to the actual speakers. I expected decent sound from this system. Not "Bose quality", but decent sound. Now I'm wondering why I thought "Bose quality" was that good. I guess it was all hype. This system sounds absolutely incredible. I consider myself an audiophile when it comes to my own equipment sounding great. I cannot say enough about how blown away I am with the sound this system provides. The receiver also automatically figures out which devices are plugged into the HDMI inputs. It automatically figured out we had a PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC plugged into the inputs. I do have one complaint about the system though. The only complaint that I have is that rather than have 5 speaker cables, they only have one 80' speaker cable. This can be a pain for somebody who doesn't have a wire cutter and a wire stripper handy. Luckily I had one and after the initial disappointment, I understand why they did this. They want the potential owners to have the ability to create speaker cable that is ideal for the speaker placement. Yes, it's an annoyance, but it does make sense. I do wish that they would mention that you need cable tools to assemble the unit though. That would reduce headaches for potential buyers. In summation, I am 110% satisfied with the purchase of this unit and I would wholeheartedly recommend this system to anybody who wants a really great home theater receiver with a really great set of speakers in a box. Yamaha does it again!

This is a fine starter stereo system. Though I am having a little trouble getting all of the speakers to work with my TV. But I think that might be more on Comcast then the unit itself

This system works better than the price point would indicate. It's not proprietary so you can change speakers down the road if you choose too. The amp is the best feature.

. The amp/reciever has good features and good power output so u can improve to better speakers , and better speakers will be desired.

I received this model after my last crapped out. The only thing I don't like about this model is that it's not USB and you really can't find tube what your doing.

This is really a great sound system. The acoustic is great and the different modes are exceptional. I like the Bluetooth option and connect my phone quite often.

happy with purchase. only problem it does not include wall brackets to install small rear speakers on wall. for us we were able to to use our old set up.

I love this Yamaha system along with my 1080P big screen it's like being at the movies but with an easy chair and the munchies are cheeper.

I have had this product now for 6 months and it has been working great. If you have a. If living room, I would recommend purchasing additional speaker wire

I wish they would of given an option to purchase more wire for the speakers. I had to purchase more and I had trouble finding the same wire.

The five speaker system is very, very nice. It works great for music, tv, dvd, blu-ray and cd's.

We are happy with the picture and performance of the TV - no problems getting it set up with our surround sound system and other components.

Awesome so far give it two thumbs up. At first had a rough time setting it up but i got the hang of it and sounds just like a imax theater.

Does good enough and comes with wire. Not really upgradeable, would suggest receiver alone and speakers if looking for best sounds.
