Set it up & had to call Yamaha. Yamaha said the HDMI board was out. Had to return it, but that was not a problem. Best Buy customer service is great, this home theater not so much

I got this item as a gift for myself and all i can say is for the price (i got it on sale) it is pretty awesome! I did not need a crazy strong or extravagant sound system but then again I didn’t want something so low end or basic where I need to upgrade next year so the specs on this was great! The only thing i would recommend is to get new/better speaker wire. It is very easy to hook up and mount the speakers! Even the instructions are understandable! Overall love the product!

Its good but not great...not friendly user to set up and lip/sound match is off just a tad bit. Good price just not the best.

I recently went to a Bose store and thought of buying a bose system. But I backed off after looking at this system at best buy. Probably the best decision I made to buy this system. Good bang for the buck. Sounds awesome. I use Dolby pro-logic mode. Music or Movie what ever you use it for, sounds awesome. Great Bass. Receiver is awesome, Connected to my Sharp aquos TV.It works great with the TV. All my input are in to the receiver. Overall a great buy. You can't go wrong with this system. Its easy to install also.

Not what I expected. Maybe if I had research the product before buying it, I probably would've gotten something better.

Great starter system with plenty of features, was just not loud enough for my needs.

Silly me. The box said wireless. Every speaker requires a wire. False advertising.

I wanted something that would match my 4k t.v. This works well for my needs.

Speakers are tinny sounding. Buy better speakers. Receiver is good.

First unit had a short in HDMI output. Speakers are just average.

This is a great all in one system. Speakers and subwoofers (I am at half volume and it's enough) are plenty strong and the # of inputs on the back are more than enough - the HDMI out for, say, connecting to a projector is a huge bonus. Set up was a breeze. I like the number of sound settings but quite honestly, regular TV at 5Ch Stereo and then Dolby Pro Logic Movie mode for movies is all you really need. The FM antenna, if you use it, you'll find is not really long enough - you may want to grab a cheapy 20ft FM 75 ohm cable and connector online somewhere. Why 1 star off? Well, the 18 gauge speaker wire is a bit weak. Not sure why manufacturers don't just add an extra $2 to the price and give you at least 16 gauge...if I can get 100ft of 16 gauge at Amazon for $10 shipped to me, these guys can certainly can and an even cheaper cost for greater profit.

Very disappointed, after spending 5 hrs trying to set it up with my new 4K tv I was not able to get the audio. I'm not a geek but it shouldn't take 5 hrs to get something to work. I

my front speakers just rattle when the volume is up very much. the sub is weak. very dissapointed! now i have to spend more money to upgrade the speakers. should have bought another bose system like my last.

Went through 2 units first week, worked great for 2 weeks until main receiver went blank and couldnt turn back on. Returned for full refund.

It stopped working 15 minutes after I hooked it up. Because I waited 17 days to hook it up because I had to order a cable to hook it up properly Best Buy said I was 2 days past the warranty period and wouldn't do anything about it. Fortunately Yamaha is doing something about it but what a hassle. I also got cutoff 3 times when calling Best Buy to discuss the issue. I will definitely think twice about another purchase from Best Buy.

The unit went bad on me everything buzzing in the speakers but with the Geek Squad protection I have a new one with works great.

TOO MANY BELLS & WISTLES WITH THE FRONT SPEAKERS HOOKED UP UNIT WOULD CONTINUOUSLY SHUT DOWN WHEN POWERED UP.NOT VERY COMPATABLE WITH MY OTHER DEVICES,I ACCIDENTALY TOUCHED THE REMOTE TO IT & 30 MINUTES LATER I DECIDED TO BY PASS THE UNIT SO I COULD FINISH THE GAME.

Super, super system that has tons of features and more power by far than my Sony system advertised at 1800 watts that cost $200 more. I can't believe the small speakers put out so much volume. The bluetooth enhancer feature works great, the bass enhancer works great, even when the subwoofer is not powered on. This is the best sound system, with the most real power, that I have ever had, including some that cost much more. Too many features to list, but it does tons of stuff. Slight negatives, you will have to cut, strip, and connect the speaker wires. Also the subwoofer has to be manually switched on and off, and the indicator light and switch are on the back of the subwoofer. But these are pretty minor issues compared the the unbelievable sound this unit puts out. Very highly recommended.
