Posted .Hi Dragmod,
Thank you for sharing your experiene. We're sorry to hear the vaccuum of your trimmer isn't working properly. It is important to empty the hair chamber regularly. If you have a very long or dense beard, the hair chamber will fill out quicker. In this case, you may need to empty it during the trimming session to make sure the vacuum functions properly.

Norelco trimmer is fun to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phillips Norelco 7000 series beard trimmer is pretty cool. I don't have a beard... I'm a female. I use this to keep my "sideburns" trimmed short. Not cut off, trimmed... And it works! I found the right trimmer guide to use and I get the perfect trim. So cool! When I get better with it I will use it to give myself short trims around my ears. I just have to keep myself from going crazy with this... No shaved head!! Plugged it and charged it for a few hours, then I was ready to go. This has enough choices of blades and trimmer guides to get the job done right. And it comes with a pouch large enough to hold the trimmer, included cord and all attachments. That's a big plus for me. This is fun... I recommend it to gals who enjoy playing with their haircuts (& can likely be used elsewhere on the body :) ... but I didn't try!) And I highly recommend to guys... To get that George Michael/Ricky Martin close cut beard.

Great shaver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Norelco brand is known for quality products. If you are reading this you already know that. This particular unit is no exception. The build quality is apparent as soon as you grab this baby up. It has great weight to it, and the motor feels powerful. The 7000 series features an adjustable height guard. This feature allows you to find a beard length you like and lock it in. Then you can remove the guard and get a close shave. When you come back to it, just push the guard back on and you are at the same setting you left it on. No more separate guards to get lost or left in a drawer to never be used. The best part is this unit has a vacuum on it! The box claims that it will vacuum up about 93% of cut hair. My experience was just that. The mess is reduced on my countertop by a large margin. That makes my wife happy . With all that being said ,I gave the unit 5 stars. If i have 1 complaint it would be that Norelco did not include a nose hair trimmer in this package.

Good Hair Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good hair trimmer for those seeking a quick and easy way to trim their beard hair. It's very portable and the battery last for a good amount of time. This is not a professional trimmer but does a great job non the less. The accessories are good and you can adjust the length with a few turns of the bottom circular knob. It's light weight, doesn't heat up and is easy to clean, especially with the vacuum power that's built in.

Well worth it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This trimmer is great, I’ve used it now for about three weeks and have no complaints. One charge lasts a very long time, and it charges in a very short amount of time. Overall the product is great with not the slightest complaint.

Handles a beard easily and feature packed.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This seemed to be pretty loaded with features and I was looking for a new beard trimmer since I have full beard on my face all of the time, and my last beard trimmer just died on my out of nowhere.... I didn't really understand how the vacuum feature worked until I used it... it works! There wasn't the usual mess of hair all over my sink, there was actually very little hair that the vacuum feature didn't catch. The attachments worked great, but I don't always use all of them, the 1 or 2 attachments I did try worked flawlessly and attached easily.

Great Trimmer - But No Cradle!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In review of this Trimmer, works well and the adjustable trim length built into the unit is nice. Vacuum works well. Battery lasts a long time. What I was surprised with it the unit does Not have any cradle to sit in?? Almost any other trimmer from the $20 upto top of the line have some sort of cradle. Not sure how Philips missed this one. I just gave up my Wahl Vac Trimmer which lasted 10 year, but does not hold a charge. Even that has a cradle. Having to lay it on the counter to charge seems antiquated. Maybe returning it.

Great features on this trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am loving the 7000 series trimmer. It replaced an older trimmer that had become a pain (literally) to use. I plugged it in, got it to a full charge in under an hour, and then took it for a maiden trim. The first thing I noticed was how well it fits in my hand. I have plenty of control and grip no matter which direction I'm trying to cut the hair on my face or neck. The next thing I found was that this unit actually does as it's advertised and captures the vast majority of clippings. No more tiny hairs all over the sink...which makes the wife extremely happy! I've only used a couple of the combs so far, but they work well and are comfortable against the skin. The adjustable blade depth is intuitive and easy to set on the fly so you can get the right length of your beard with ease. Cleanup is simple and the included brush and sponge make it even easier. Plenty of power, excellent gripping surface, and hair clipping collection system make this a trimmer I can recommend to everyone.

Reliable li-ion battery life, great trimmer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this trimmer has definitely delivered on its promises. The vacuum system does catch roughly 90% of hairs, leaving much less mess in the sink. This trimmer comes with multiple useful attachments, and has a twist-adjust trimmer adjustment with 20 positions or so. Once you put the main trimming comb on, there's a twist wheel that goes from 0-10 in .5 increments. I would recommend first using this trimmer at a longer setting than you would expect, as my initial setting of 4 left my beard a bit short. However now, the 5.5 setting is about right for me. Li-ion battery is a great addition, as the motor runs strong for a long time, no need to deal with flaky ni-cad or nimh batteries found in older shaver models. Overall I am please with this trimmer and expect it to last for quite a while.

Great for general beard maintenance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several Philips Norelco shavers that I have tested and use regularly. I would recommend this for anyone. My only complaint is that this series of shavers needs a better straight edger option. The design has a built-in clippings collector which is very nice! But... the unit does not allow for removal of the protruding collection cone. Thus, not allowing the device to get super close for those razor-sharp edges we all like.

Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my old Phillips Norelco trimmer died, I replaced it with the 7000 Series Hair Trimmer and have been very pleased. The trim height controls are precise and the vacuum feature is much improved over my old trimmer. If you need a trimmer, this should be the one for you.

A better trimming experience!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure about some of the negative comments, but I've been really happy with this product! The pros definitely out weight the cons. A little bulky, and slightly difficult to clean out, but if you can put up with those two things, you're rewarded with a much cleaner grooming experience!!!
