Philips Norelco 7000 series hair trimmer was good for my face

I took my time looking at all of the trimming options that Best Buy had available and based on the reviews this one seemed like it would not disappoint. I was correct, I have gone through at least twenty other trimmers over the last ten years and this one is by far the best one that I have purchased! Especially with the ease of use and the different options available.

***Pre-Face: If you’re a nerd like me and read all the directions, you’ll notice it says something about a charging base. I did a little research online and couldn’t find one to purchase which leads me to believe it was a typo created from reusing direction for another trimmer.*** This is a serious trimmer that’s worth the little extra. I’ve had a full size trimmer or used my shaving razor for most of my trimming needs until now. With this little baby, that will most likely change. The two different sized heads are perfect for detailed trimming. Setting the length is simple with the rotating and snapping dial. Clean up is easy with it catching about 80-90% of the trimmings. The ability to have a five minute quick charge for one trimming session makes it so you’re not out of luck when the battery runs out. Even then, it’s charged within an hour. I can’t say much more. I’m thoroughly impressed by every aspect of this device. Oh! And when it comes to noise, for trimmers, this thing is at a whisper! Highly recommended!!!

Bought this as a gift and he truly loves it! He expressed how it does the works on getting rid of any unwanted facial hair without leaving your skin irritated. He made sure to add that it’s been one of the best razors he has ever had!! It sounds like a win win to me!!

Pro - Integrated guard comb very stiff - Vacuum trap works great for stubble - Good battery life Con - Vacuum clogs easily with longer hair - Guard comb doesn't work well with longer, thicker hair - No shaving or nose trimmer attachments - Bag isn't big enough to hold trimmer and all accessories - Not water resistant Overall The 7500 model has two big improvements over my last Philips groomer. First, the guard comb is now integrated into the trimmer head rather than just clipping on the side. This makes it much stronger with less flex, so the trim depth stays consistent across your whole face. Second, while I was skeptical how well the vacuum trap worked, it really does a great job of keeping the hair trimmings from going down your collar or on your shirt. However, that only goes for short stubble, about 1/4" or less. Trimming off more hair than that will clog it up quickly. A fully charged battery easily lasts through multiple shaves, so you should be able to go through a whole week on one charge. The downsides are small for the most part. While it comes with a drawstring bag, it's a very tight fit getting the trimmer, charger, and other attachments in it without ripping seams or scratching the trimmer. And though you get a smaller, detail trimmer, it doesn't include a shaving attachment or nose hair trimmer. Finally, the main guard comb has thick, rounded teeth, which cover more area than not. For the straighter hair on my head ( sideburns and around my ears ) it worked fine. But for the thicker, curlier hair on my neck and body, it was more likely to matte the hair down than scoop it up for the trimming blade. The thing to remember about the 7500 is it's a face and beard trimmer, not an all body groomer. It's great for daily/weekly beard trimming without leaving a mess on your clothes and across the entire bathroom counter. But it can't shave your face and it doesn't do as well trimming your chest, pits, and rest of your body.

I have already recommended this other friends who like me prefer a shaved head. This unit really does catch the hair so it doesn't get all over the place. If you like a close shaved look on your head and don't let it get too long the little shaver will not clog up with hair. The key is to shave about every 5 days. AMAZING! LOVE IT!

For hair it works very good and aspire 90% of the hair maybe 95%, for beard accessories not very good for Aspire but in terms of trimming functionality works perfect about 10 levels of trimming

It's a little hard to lift the razor to remove the hair, other than that it's good trimmer.

It does what it says! Keeps the whiskers out of the sink for the most part. I wish the vacuuming was a little stronger.

Works well for now. Had issues in the past with norelco products, especially battery related. Their baterry life seems to be poor after few months of use.

The trimmer does a good job capturing cut hair. Now my sink does not have hair all over the place. It has several parts that enhance its usability.
