I love it. I was debating with an expensive Bose system close to $1200 and I saw this and read the reviews and experienced the acoustics in the store and decided to try it out. Completely worth it and sounds great. Feels like we’re at the movies.

I have large basement and need a home theater system.Over all it is not bad but there are couple of things. I use the andriod box with tv and for that sound qulaity is not as per par. But if directly play on the 5.1 ch receiver ( fm radio) then every thing is working fine. I am using the HDMI with tv.

Everything is smaller than what I had before. Seems to be working fine. Set up and learning how to use the remotes was a little complicated. Geek Squad helped a lot.

We wanted a cost effective surround system for Blu-ray movies and this was an inexpensive solution. Setup is easy and it sounds good. I do wish the speakers were made of something other than plastic, but given the cheap construction the sound is surprisingly good. Overall we are happy with the purchase.

we love this! New TVs just dont have quality speakers on them anymore so when we moved to our new house I wanted to feel like we were in the movies. This thing doesn't disappoint and makes our tv time so much more enjoyable.

I purchased this Yamaha and was thinking I'm just throwing my money away because it was so cheap,,,Not True it sounds awesome!!!!! Woohoo thought that sound quality went out in the 80's 725 watts of pure enjoyment Thanks Best buy I will be back.

Overal a great system in a box for the price paid. The bass sounds great and without cracking. Has plenty of power. A big downside is some features are only accessed to via the remote control which is a bummer. If remote was backlit for use in the dark that would be a good addition, Yamaha.

What can I say, you want an amazing surround sound that won't break the bank and still sounds like those that cost 2x's the amount. This is the one, my only grief is the bass control is a knob in the back of subwoofer and not a button on controller

I have used a lot of different brands for surround sound systems over the years. This has been the best unit I have purchased and it is worth every penny. Love watching sports and movies on our projector in our basement.

My old system needed replacing after almost 20 years. Today there are so many more choices. We decided to give this one a try, figuring that at this price, it would be an up grade. Well it is better than expected, not quite top end but high middle.

I purchased a new 4K tv and a sound bar. After about a month I decided that the sound bar could not give the quality of sound that I wanted. The store associate helped me with the available options for a surround sound system. The Yamaha 725W 5.1 gives the quality sound that I expected.

Easy setup with my Directv and Blu-ray boxes, works great an the upscale video looks great on my 4k tv

My 7 year old “all in one” home theatre stopped working and I needed to change. Bought this Yamaha, and am impressed by the quality, the sound is good, and I love having 5 hdmi ports. It was easy to set up and a killer value for the money.

This sound system KICKS! 140w per channel makes this TRUE SURROUND SOUND. Lots of Theater Power for the price!

This is probably the best A/V receiver and surround sound in a box I’ve seen or heard with 4K passthrough and 5.1 speaker system this thing really thumps and sounds great...

This yamaha sound system is very nice and loud and has great surround sound sounds. Wouldve been five stars if it worked better with my awesome samsung tv but, that may be samsung's problem. So maybe not so awesome. But the yamaha is pretty compatable, so thank you.

The Yamaha Home Theater System worked well until the AV2 went out. It did have a 2 year warranty on that part of the system so it is now in the show. Other than that, I like the system. Good system for the money.

After a lot of research I decided to give this system a try. I am not disappointed. By far the best system I have ever had. Blows my old sound bar out of the water. Delivers true surround sound. Like I’m at the theater.

Very impressed with this surround sound! Was looking for a system to put in our home theatre and this was the perfect set. Has beautiful and quality sound that fills the room and makes you feel like you’re in the movie.

My very old Samsung surround sound system finally crapped out and this system was a great upgrade/replacement. The speaker configuration was the same so I used my old wiring. The Yamaha sounds much better.
