Hello Bell, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that your source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture settings that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room, try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room, try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

Breathtaking Picture & Great Smart Benefits!

Recently purchased this 75 inch TV as an upgrade to my family room. I've been a long time VIZIO customer, so really the 2019 P-series was a no-brainer. So many other TV brands focus only on dark content/dark levels, but there is little focus on the brightness of the TV. VIZIO does not disappoint when it comes to brightness levels!!! I'm in love with the level of color, brightness and hues that this TV provides! I can watch my TV with all of my windows open and still have amazing picture quality. The black levels are also superb, so picture quality is not sacrificed here. I'm also an Android user and also starting to cut my cable cords, so the SmartCast OS with casting capabilities built into the TV is incredibly convenient and effortless. This TV also has Apple AirPlay enabled, so it's great for Android or iOS users. The TV also has a built in input for VIZIO's Watch Free service - so as long as you are connected to the internet, you get free streaming channels! Would highly recommend this TV and SmartCast!

Let me start by saying I thought this was a great TV. Great pictures, colors and blacks. Used this for a monitor so I never really used the smart TV functions. My problem started when the picture would start flashing. Best Buy returned TV with no problems. While I was there switching out the TV, no more P Series TV's so ended up buying a Sony X900F. I have had few Sony's and had no problems. I really didn't want to give up on the Vizio cause I was happy with everything but the flashing. I bought a 65" M658-G1 for another room and love it. The picture and color is about the same as the Sony.

This TV has been a lemon. Picture is good but moving through the interface is very slow and after about a year it would no longer maintain a Wi-Fi connection. And no, it is not my internet service. it is a problem inside the tv.

Decided on this tv after deciding I wanted a 75” and doing a LOT of research. I knew going in that Vizio’s SmartCast OS wasn’t great (and it still isn’t), but I use a Fire TV Stick anyway, so I didn’t really care about that. The picture on this TV is beautiful. The contrast is spectacular for an LED because of the full array backlighting. However, shortly after I got mine, it began randomly shutting itself off for no apparent reason. I did all kinds of trouble shooting before I eventually called Vizio for help. To their credit, they were very helpful with getting the situation resolved — unfortunately, because of the current COVID-19 situation, both options they offered me (repair or replacement, both free) were unavailable in my state. So I had to return the TV to Best Buy, which of course was a pain in the you-know-what. I exchanged it for a Sony X900F, which is (as far as I can tell so far) a superior product.

    Lemon of a TV

We have had nothing but issues with this TV from the start. The sound bar never wants to sync up. And now the screen is starting to go black with sound. I've done all the recommended things to fix. But it looks like I'm going to get the black screen of death. This is a lemon product. I will never buy Vizio again.

We purchased 6 of these 75 inch TVs when we had our house built 1 year ago and one of them is already completely burned out. Vizio has a problem with the backlights in their televisions and they WILL burn out on you. One half of the TV is completely black. This is a well known problem (google it) and Vizio is doing absolutely nothing about it. We called corporate and they offered next to nothing for a resolution. I will NEVER spend a dime with them again!

Great reviews but had to return

Got my Vizio 75" P series TV delivered and was excited to set it up. Had it for a week and during that time I tried numerous calibration settings from various sites. The white scenes, backgrounds and lettering all had a yellow cast. I tried adjusting the white balance but it didn't help. I was extremely disappointed with the picture upgrading on broadcast TV and as well as well as the yellowing effect. I must be the unfortunate one to get a bad board or screen. I decided to return it. Best Buy was great and will pick it up and replace it with a Samsung QLED.

13 Months after purchase a line of pixels went out

Be careful buying from Vizio. My recent experience was that 13 months after purchase in Dec 2018 the TV began to degrade. A line of pixels at the top of the screen went dead on their P65-F1. This is supposed to be one of their better models. I asked Vizio for help and they basically said sorry 1 year is past and there is nothing they will do. Spend the extra bucks for a more reputable brand name. I was a SONY owner for 15 years and never had any problems.

Don't buy a Vizio without a protection Plan

I bought 75" P series 18mo ago and it failed. I was told by the vizio tech that it was backlight problem and unrepairable. I found quite a few complaints on-line with the same issue and response. I did not have a protection plan and was told I was out of luck. Lesson learned...do not buy Vizio without a protection plan or buy a more reliable brand.

Bought the TV on sale during Super Bowl weekend. Had it a full month and it stopped working. The picture was decent not what was touted by the sales rep. This was the 5th Vizio TV we’ve bought and the third we’ve had to return. It is very likely our next TV purchase will not be a Vizio.
