Build quality is better than I expected. Not only does this keyboard come with additional accessories, but it is a mechanical keyboard with the right amount of tactile feedback. This is perfect for my use case as I needed a wireless mechanical keyboard without backlight that can last longer.

This keyboard has been a fantastic addition to my work desk. It’s sleek and functional, and I get so many compliments! The typing experience is great—the keys have a nice, not too loud, sound. I haven’t run into any problems so far. The only thing I’d change is having a work mouse, but I love being able to customize its functions. I’m really happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my streaming set up on a pretty solid sale, and as a Nintendo girlie at heart, I'm such a fan of this keyboard. Admittedly, I haven't had a chance to use it too much, but the keys are clicky, solid, and the build is great! Really excited to use this in my streams!

This keyboard is great fun! The immediate appeal is the 1980’s look of the Commodore 64 game console, and the joystick and huge A and B macro buttons work well. I chose to map the big A/B buttons as Copy/Paste. Typing on the 8BitDo Retro has the crisp touch and hollow, clacky typing sounds that resemble 1980’s keyboards. Some don’t like those sounds, but for me, it’s a perfect part of the retro package! If I have any critiques, it’s that the key-mapping 8BitDo Ultimate software is a little hard to work with, and I couldn’t make it emulate an additional “layer,” for more effective key bindings. (Many other programmable keyboards do permit this.) The reason I still give it 5 stars is that the 1980’s keyboards didn’t do that either!

My bf love the way the type and how retro they look. It comes with 2 buttons that’s A and B and a little joy stick. Also got it on sell on clearance for 87 dollars.

Awesome quirky keyboard, the keys feels great to press and provide a nice responsive click every time you press one. the design is iconic and the joystick provided is a great addition for playing retro games

The key strokes feel great while typing, not overly hard to punch while still slightly clicky. The aesthetic reminds me of late 80’s computer lab. The joystick and big buttons take up a fair amount of real estate on my desk so i haven’t used them much. I haven’t really found a game that actually still utilizes the old stick yet.

The feel of the keys is great. The price was right. The additional peripherals are gimmicky but that's part of the reason one buys these things. I don't see myself using them that much, but the keyboard alone is great. Not just great for the price, but really, really good overall.

This keyboard works and feels great. After about a month of use, I still haven't tried the buttons or joystick that came with it, but they seem like a fun idea for maybe some retro games. The design hits the nostalgia feel, and the quality is great too.

Great keyboard with great features and the fit-n-finish to match. The included buttons and joystick are a bit of a novelty for me so far, but are appreciated nonetheless. They keys have a great, high quality feel. It sounds amazing. The included accessories like the "Mario brick" style dongle and the embossed type c cable are a nice touch. The volume knob is endlessly helpful, the programmable buttons are intuitive. Lots of great things to say about this keyboard. So nice I even bought a second one.

Stabilizers were pretty good and balanced. I replaced the switches and would recommend tape modding and putting foam/some type of filling in the keyboard since it sounds pretty hollow. The software is a little confusing, but after watching a video or two it's not too bad.

Great keyboard, great key feel, a bit noisy, nice aesthetics are a nostalgia punch, great connectivity, super buttons are great for fiddling, looking forward to play vampire survivors with the joystick

This is so rad. I'm glad I got it. Got it on a sale deal too. But this nostalgic color scheme is so cool. I am new to mechanical keyboards, and this thing clicks and clacks. I found the updated matching mouse for it too. It's a great complement to this set up.

Amazing keyboard, its very well built and have a premium finish to it. All the accesories have a nice weight to them and also feel very well built. The typing experience is so nice with a tactile click on the keys.

Awesome keyboard, with an NES theme. It comes with a wireless adapter if you don't want to rely on bluetooth. Keys are clicky. Extra buttons are programmable. Joystick is all right.
