    I love this keyboard. Is it a vanity piece? Yes, but the keys feel perfect and it's a great keyboard. No drawbacks really. My favorite part is the 2.4g or bluetooth switch. This means I can connect it to 2 different devices (PC and Steam Deck) and switch between controlling each of them with the flip of a switch. It's seamless. Also the super buttons and joystick are very fun for Pico-8 or retro emulated games.

    This keyboard is great fun! The immediate appeal is the 1980’s look of the Commodore 64 game console, and the joystick and huge A and B macro buttons work well. I chose to map the big A/B buttons as Copy/Paste. Typing on the 8BitDo Retro has the crisp touch and hollow, clacky typing sounds that resemble 1980’s keyboards. Some don’t like those sounds, but for me, it’s a perfect part of the retro package! If I have any critiques, it’s that the key-mapping 8BitDo Ultimate software is a little hard to work with, and I couldn’t make it emulate an additional “layer,” for more effective key bindings. (Many other programmable keyboards do permit this.) The reason I still give it 5 stars is that the 1980’s keyboards didn’t do that either!

    Great mechanical keyboard, I like it better than my Corsair keyboard. Very nice quality and feel to all pieces, its not light and hollow and I imagine will hold up to some abuse for years to come. Seriously I really like this set, the giant A B buttons are fantastic and I use them in POE2 for my health and mana pots. The turn knobs are nice and its awesome to turn the volume up by turning the knob - it just a tactile thing but its nice.

    This is so rad. I'm glad I got it. Got it on a sale deal too. But this nostalgic color scheme is so cool. I am new to mechanical keyboards, and this thing clicks and clacks. I found the updated matching mouse for it too. It's a great complement to this set up.

    I had read a lot of reviews that had praised this keyboard, so decided to buy it. I could not agree more with the other high reviews praising this keyboard. I only use the keyboard and not the joystick or buttons, but I am nothing but pleased with the satisfying feel of the keyboard and the quality of it. I highly recommend this keyboard! Already getting compliments at work on the "cool looking retro keyboard".

    Love the retro design. I wish it came with a wireless mouse but it’s not big deal. I like the wireless feature and the Bluetooth is a nice addition so you can connect to other devices. I can’t speak to the other accessories that the bundle came with as I don’t use it. I just care about the keyboard.

    I love this keyboard. It's a got a beautiful, nostalgic design. It's also very clicky, but the switches are hot-swappable if you like it quieter. The software however is frustratingly buggy and slow.

    Amazing keyboard, its very well built and have a premium finish to it. All the accesories have a nice weight to them and also feel very well built. The typing experience is so nice with a tactile click on the keys.

    this is by far my favorite keyboard. The harsh clicks make it feel fun to use since you are very certain of your inputs. the joystick and large buttons were very simple to connect and program!

    If you are a fan of mechanical keyboards but want a more retro look, this is the keyboard. The switches are white and it has a nice tactile feel to it. They pretty responsive. It does include the joystick and A/B buttons. And you can program it to use it for different settings. So far pretty good keyboard for the price amd its well built

    This keyboard is a great value and the build quality is outstanding. The keys are responsive and there was certainly care and consideration taken into account when making this product. The retro NES inspired theme is a great touch and I have loved using this with Steam OS as the designated keyboard for my Steam Deck.

    The keyboard itself is excellent. I love the sound that the switches make and it feels great to type on. The style looks wonderfully NES-retro. Deducting a star for the following reasons: the joystick is not very well built; it frequently falls apart when gaming, there is no switch between PC and Mac mode, so using the command button is awkward when using with a Mac, does not appear to be hot swappable switches.
