    Every knows George C. Scott from patton, but he proves he is such a great actor. A very good Christmas carol. The whole family will enjoy it.

    This movie is based on the novel by Charles Dickens and is a great story. George C. Scott gives a very good performance.

    There's 3 versions of this movie I like, the Albert Finny's Scrooge, this one, and the one with Bill Murray. A classic that every family should own!

    I own several performances of A Christmas Carol, but the American rendering starring George C. Scott is still the best done in color.
