    A Dog's Way Home is a movie that can easily be confused as a retelling of the classic 1993 Homeward Bound, however, the really really bad CGI scenes and creatures completely ruin the experience taking you out of the journey entirely. The story itself doesn't do it any favors as it is very hard to believe the plot at any point leading to a very lackluster overall experience. Good for dog lovers and kids but not much else.

    My granddaughter had seen this movie and had enjoyed it so much we went out and bought it so she could see it over and over again

    The cinematography is great. That alone made it worth watching. For my money the dogs were the best actors in the film, but for me the veterans theme was a little heavy-handed. But then my reaction probably had to do with the fact of Judd's presence in the film. Is a leftist whack. She has no real love for the America of our founding.
