A Quiet Place is an absolutely fantastic film and it’s even more impressive when you realize this is John Krasinskis directorial debut. The performances in this film are absolutely top notch. Not just from Krasinski and Blunt but also their children in this film, Noah Jupe as Marcus and Milliecent Simmons as Reagan. The use of sound in this movie really helps you feel immersed in this fictional world of silence and fear of what hides in it.

This is definitely a different movie with limited dialogue, most communication in sign language basically. This is a great sci-fi horror. I was not going to get it but my other half gave me no option and well worth it. Keeps you on your tippy toes !!! Definitely will re-watch this movie a few times. Better with surround sound as well. Also ending was made for a sequel.... so look out for A Quieter Place soon. Overall we loved the movie.

I really didn't know what to expect when I made this purchase. It goes way beyond any expectation I had for a suspenseful movie. The characters, story and suspense are over the top. I was amazed at how I was totally absorbed into the movie as a whole. I highly recommend this movie to any fan of suspense and horror.

I don't have the time, words or space to adequately state how much I love this movie. It's nuanced. It's well-paced. The action is realistic and not over-the-top. However, the linchpin of it all is the sound. This movie is all about silence and sound and 5 minutes in you'll realize how brilliant it is. I wish I could give it 6 stars. If you need a loan I'll buy it for you. Ask your mom for change. Do whatever you need to get this movie.

I did not get a chance to catch this in theaters, but after I watched it via a steaming platform, I watch part II in Dolby atmos. If you have the equipment, this film is for you! I personally don’t collect this type of genre, but for the audio/visuals and performances, I had to add this to my small 4K collection.

There are few, really good horror / sci-fi movies these days, but this film is excellent, and an interesting watch. Great acting and writing, it leaves you in suspense for most of the movie. Don't want to give spoilers here, so I will say you should give this a try, I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised. And I can't wait to see the sequel.

A great movie gets a great 4K UHD release, now also with great steelbook packaging. The picture quality is superb, and even more importantly, the AUDIO is amazing! This is a film that lives and dies by its sound, so this disc had to get that right, and thankfully it does, with its Atmos surround sound. Watch this before you watch the sequel!

Missed a lot of the story. Missed how this happened and the end result of getting the cure to everyone. Luckily, I hear, they have made another and hope it will fill in the blanks. When available I will purchase it too.

This was extremely well done. Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and some excellent child actors were perfect in this film. I thought this was an extremely well thought out flick in pretty much every way imaginable. Horror movies seem to be one of the hardest genres to excel at but this one delivers. I saw it at the theater, with my daughter, and again, at home, with her and it was just as awesome. Anyway, I highly recommend

This movie reminds of Jaws mixed with Signs (Mel Gibson). This is not a fun movie per say it’s about loss, love, sacrifice and family. It is gripping and I don’t think you could fully relate to it unless you are a parent. That’s just my opinion. There are some things I do not like about the film but I will not spoil it for anyone, it is still a must watch. There is some original stuff in this film which you have to appreciate cause now in the world we live in its much easier to refresh something old rather to come up with something original. Don’t get me wrong it’s not all original but some of it is and that seems to be the best we can hope for these days.

The steelbook itself is fantastic. Very glossy which makes the red coloring stand out. Plus amazing debossing on the scratch marks which makes it feel like the scratch marks are really there. Only downside is the interior artwork is a little bland, but the rest make up for it. As for the movie, its a really unique, suspenseful, and very well made movie that's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of horror.

I guess its mostly me, but these don't really scare me anymore, maybe when I was younger, but not these days. I can usually see what is going to happen, or at least be close, but they are still enjoyable and sometimes you get a little startled or jumpy from them and this did have one or two of those and will probably scare some younger people. Overall it was good, with a fresh story line, which made it more believable.

The movie totally worked for me. Taking a lot from It Follows and Don't Breath this is a claustrophobic thriller taking place in an open field. Looking forward to future Krasinski films, and hoping above all that they just leave this jem where it is and do not follow through with a sequel. Sure there is a lot to explore here, but we all know it will just turn out to be a Tremors type saga. Amazing steelbook packaging.

An extraordinary thriller and literally silent storytelling of a family struggling to survive in their world that has been invaded by aliens who kill at the hearing even the a sound slightly above a whisper. Beautifulyl directed and skillfully performed by all. Emily Blount is awesome, but so are the child actors, one who is totally deaf,and not to forget Emily's actor husband in a great role and directing so well.

Very suspenseful. John krasinski and Emily Blunt deliver excellent performances, so do all the kid actors in the movie. The creatures are nightmarishly threatening, with just the right amount of goo and emanating click-click sounds! The tall grassy fields, the wind, the grain solo, and tense silence makes for pounding heartbeats. Highly recommended!!

This movie is great, very original and full of suspense, it have all the ingredients for a excellent Sci-fi/Horror/Dystopian: great plot, cast, acting, directing, shooting, etc. I own it in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and the picture and sound quality is awesome, makes the watching experience even better!

My oops! I saw 4k Quiet Place for a little cheaper...I was planning on going home with Quite Place II. Cheaper price was because it was the 1st movie not the 2nd...it had been a super long day out. Urgh! :( Great movie! Looked even better in 4k :) Hopefully will go home with the right one on my next purchase.

Actually, this was an awesome movie! Good acting, action, plot! Characters are believable! Eventhough very little verbal dialog and mostly sign language with subtitles, the action in this movie makes up for non dialog!! This is a great flick, enjoyed it very much!! Worth the $$!! Can't wait to check out the second installment of this movie!!

The start of the movie makes you unsure if the moving is going to be quiet the whole time. But you quickly learn why there is no sound and what happens to the family when there is sound. Amazing actors for the story plot. It would be interesting to be the director and an actor. As well as your wife playing your wife in the movie. I think it was greatly made and would definitely recommend seeing!
