For a movie being based off of silence you wouldn’t think the atmos mix would be that good. Wow was I wrong. Basement scene makes you feel as if the creatures are literally walking around above you. Movie may not have much sound but the should it does have really makes you feel part of the movie.

I feel this is a good movie if you’re wanting a first time scary movie to watch for an early teenager or someone that isn’t older and hasn’t seen a scary movie before.

This is one of my favorite films of the year, and perhaps one of the best thriller/horror movies of all time. Sound design is key to the unbearably tense scenes, so make sure you have a decent sound system, turned up to decent volume levels. As for extras, the Blu-ray featurettes are brief but cover all the essentials.

A Quiet Place is a new thriller from John Krasinski starring himself and Emily Blunt. Surprisingly, the highlight of the viewing experience is ths sound design and the 4K disc takes advantage of it. The few sounds that are used are loud and immerse you completely into this world. A fantastic movie and a high quality disc!!

Fabulous! The Atmos experience is fascinating...Crisp and dynamic Dolby vision and awesome and breathtaking Dolby Atmos. You could see every detail and hear every whisper; you could feel the pulse of the characters, and almost feel their heart beats... Nicely done!

Such a great concept and perfectly executed! Was very happy I bought it. Highly recommended. Only thing that was strange is I was carded to purchase this movie by the cashiers. Its a PG-13 movie so not sure why someone who's obviously much, much older than 13 needed to show a license, but at least it made me feel young!

A Quiet Place is an awesome directorial debut for John Krasinski. Some people say you have to see it in the theater because of the overall silence in the film, but I thought the home viewing experience was creepy as well. It's full of scares and heart! The steelbook art is pretty great too, so it's worth the extra cash.

This movie was a very good and suspenseful thriller movie I would definitely recommend you buy this movie and watch it because you will not be able to leave your seat because if you do you will miss any action and heart pounding suspense of the movie and this movie is a good summer movie. Go definitely buy this movie!

I had not seen this movie in theaters though I had seen very good reviews. I had high expectations and they were met. Very well done, though not completely original (you can see how this might have been folded into the Cloverfield universe), it stands on it's own as a well acted and directed suspense movie. Enjoy !!!

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

This film delivers frights and moments of sadness. Anyone who loves end of the world type flicks will certainly want to add this to the collection. The UHD transfer is razor sharp. I have seen better transfers but this does not disappoint. As for audio it is nothing short of outstanding. anyone who has a home theater set up for atmos listening will be satisfied.

This movie is awesome and will lead to one of the most unique watching experiences you will ever have. Nobody will want to make a peep, and they will be in the edge of their seats.

I love the concept of this movie. Not much dialogue as most of the movie is sign language but it really adds to the suspense of the whole story. Definitely worth watching at home, in a quiet room with surround sound. You'll easily get sucked into the suspense despite the lack of dialogue. (It's not needed!)

I am very pleased at how much better this movie was in UHD / HDR than it was at the theatre. At the movie theatre I could literally hear EVERY SINGLE PERSON CHOMPING ON POPCORN which really drew away from some of the suspense. This movie is AWESOME and is literally one of my favorite movies of the past few years.

A little scary. I thought a little more info was needed about the creatures inhabiting the area besides just old newspaper clippings but not a bad movie.

Fantastic horror film! One of the best movies to show what a home theater system can do. Absolutely GO TO demo material. Great Atmos with superb HDR color and detail. Be prepared for a subwoofer workout like you’ve rarely experienced.

A quiet Place is extremely suspenseful, and very original. The production quality is also excellent, great acting, etc. The 4K UHD blu ray is pristine, and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack adds to the suspense, causing me to jump in my chair several times.

Even after hearing all the hype when this movie was in theaters I never got a chance to see it, now that’s it available to take home all I can say is this was truly a great movie that looks great in 4K. Not much dialogue in the film however the performances and suspense keep your eyes glued to the screen.

I enjoyed this movie in the theatre and at home for various reason but watching this at home in a 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup it takes the movie to another level, it not only works out your speakers but puts your subwoofers to work! A must have for fans of 3D immersive sound

For a movie that has very little dialog the time went surprising quick! Had to have CC on to help and was not a deterrent to overall experience of movie. Krasinski did a really good job directing but had a hard time interpreting oldest child's emotions.
