While I liked the movie which at times had me on the edge of my seat I was disappointed with the fathers outcome.

Wasn’t so thrilling but it was an aliright movie not really worth $20 though it’s like a watch one time kind of movie

I wanted to buy this movie for awhile. I had coupon and bought it. It was delivered timely and was packed well.

This is a great horror movie and might be the best of 2018. It isn't perfect but it is a fun time in the movie theatre.

Wonderfully acted. Before I knew it the movie was over. Story moved along very well. Highly enjoyable.

A Quiet Place is just excellent. It's only the second feature length film directed by John Krasinski, but he shows himself to be an incredibly talented director here. The biggest draw to this film is the use of silence. Most movies nowadays (especially horror films) seem to be afraid of being quiet. There always has to be something happening, or music playing in the background, but silence is used in this movie to great effect. Not only does it create a really unique atmosphere, it makes for some genuinely tense sequences. Acting across the board is excellent. Overall I was very pleased with this movie, and definitely looking forward to what Krasinski does next!

In a year filled with noisy and explosive films vying for your attention, this quiet little indie is one of the few releases so far this year worth talking about. It has the clever mechanics of a Hitchcock thriller combined with creepiness and slow dread of Shyamalan's finest. Mix in rich characters developed with almost no dialogue and a strong family theme and you've got a recipe for greatness. If you're bored with the over the top A.D.D. fueled offerings this summer, you're guaranteed to be wowed by the subtleties of this thoughtful and meticulous little thriller. So, pop up the popcorn, turn out the lights and make sure you have your favorite blanket duck under.

Excellent movie in an excellent format. If you haven't seen a movie already and loved it, you have no business blind buying it on UHD. My pertinent information about this product is that certain older UHD players may display a visual error upon playing, I had this issue. None of my other UHDs were displaying a visual glitch in my player, so I at first thought it was the disc, but after playing the disc in a newer player glitch free I was able to determine that my player was having issues with the disc's encoding.

The silence during the movie was great and just elevated their performances and the tension throughout.

Make sure you time align your subwoofer(s) to your main speakers with REW microphone calibration off your laptop with as much latitude your receiver or preamp allows. The Audyssey room calibration is not enough for making tight bass faithfully reproduced on your system that the director of this movie wants you to hear and feel. Look up REW youtube how-to videos by Audioholics to point you in the right direction. As for the movie itself, there are definitely plot loop holes you can spot...like if the aliens would've passed out if they were at a heavy metal concert. SMH

Really good movie with hardly any talking at all. Keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat.

I wanted to watch this movie when it came out in theaters, originally. I was unable to at the time so, I picked up this 4K release. I’m not going to go in depth reviewing this movie, as I am not a movie critic. As a normal person who enjoys his movies, I can attest to how great this movie is. Definitely, go out and purchase this. It’s a touch of family drama, suspense, and some horror. As for the 4K quality, it’s not true 4K. It’s 2K upscaled. Not much HDR usage. It does come with standard Dolby Atmos audio but as this movie is about 90% silent, doesn’t help much. However, when there is audio it’s a nice sounding moment.

A Quiet Place is a thriller with a unique twist. It’s about family relations and struggles for survival in a difficult situation. This doesn’t sound so unique but when you throw in the idea that no one can make a sound, any sound, things change dramatically. Making noise attracts creatures, possibly alien, that that are sensitive to sound. They can pinpoint your location and well you’re done for. Emily Blunt works well with her real husband John Krasinski in this sci-fi family movie. The 4K-HDR really enhances every scene. The action explodes on the screen. I mention this in most of my reviews. This movie is a very good buy.
