This film reminds me of Mel brooks in the movie silent movie

A fantastic and terrifying unique take on the horror suspense thriller genre that leaves you on the edge of your seat for most of the movie. It was a fantastic film and one that puts you directly in the tense situation and atmosphere of the family portrayed as they fight and help each other to ensure their survival. It is truly unique and a scary monster movie that sets a high bar for the horror genre and is not to be missed.

Steel book looks nice. The 4K disc looks great but the sound is definitely where it shines. My player feeds into a 5.1 system and it was crazy how immersive the sound was for this movie. Without spoiling anything, there were several scenes where it really felt you were in the movie with them. Movie itself was good as well. Wouldn’t really consider it a horror movie, more of a suspenseful thriller.

Probably the best sci-fi thriller to come out last year

The movie was extremely intense. Really enjoyed the film.

I've already owned the bluray copy of this movie which was great but I was never really fully satisfied since I also own the sequel in 4K. Finally upgraded to 4K, I can now sleep well at night knowing that my copy's PQ matches the AQ. Dolby Vision is now as good as the Dolby Atmos that this film has to offer.

I recently purchased a New Samsung Q90T 65" (2020) Q-LED TV and matching Q950T Samsung Soundbar and 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and wanted to purchase a few really good 4K UHD Movies to show off the picture and ATMOS surround audio. This DVD does not disappoint. Great movie with plenty of action scenes with very good Surround sound. And I got it on sale! Better than going to the Movies, especially now since COVID-19.

I am very impressed by this first time directors debut.

Very little dialog but still packed in a lot of tension.

Exceeds expectations. Not going to lie, went into this thinking it had a somewhat lame concept but the reviews looked good so i gave it a shot. Overall without spoiling anything i enjoyed this movie. Never a dull moment and had some good acting and the story progressed well throughout. I would definitely recommend this. This was one of those movies that matched the reviews online which i read. Good stuff.

An absolutely fantastic and original movie. If you plan on watching the second film, this movie is necessary to watch first as the second picks up immediately after the ending of the first. A Quiet Place is one of my favorite films, alongside my family's favorite. The new and unique format is excellent. Sound design, story, character development: 5/5. Could not recommend more.

A suspenseful horror movie featuring Emily Blunt and her Husband John Krasinski, who also directs here. The story involves a family trying to stay quiet and hidden from monsters who are drawn to sound. Ironically, the monsters may not be the most frightening antagonists in the film. Watch for yourself! Sound and picture in this 4K format are excellent and the special effects are pretty cool too.

I missed this film when is first came out and am really disappointed that I did because it is amazing. Great story, characters, pacing, and suspense make this a must see. The A/V Quality of the UHD is great and a slight improvement over the included Blu-ray. The bonus features are a little light but the film is worth the purchase price alone.

A Quiet Place is extremely gripping and a tense plot from the begining and all the way through. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Excellent use of sound, I had heard it was like a silent movie but it was nothing like that at all. As a big fan of horror movies, it is hard to come across a good one nowadays. I was afraid they wouldn't show much of what they were forced to keep quiet for; that was also not the case. What a great movie.

Horror and suspense movies these days are not original and lack that level of intensity that makes you think twice about sleeping with the lights off. I couldn't believe what I had watched after the movie ended. A perfectly balanced horror/suspense movie that hits the sweet spot with its dramatic (quiet) undertones and elevates every one of your 5 senses. I still cant believe the goofy guy from The Office directed this masterpiece. But I'm hooked now
