I think that when a concert like this one comes along, it is a rare thing. I thought that the acting and story was amazing because there was little sound and dialogue but it provided a great impact in telling the story. It takes a lot of talent to accomplish the plot with sign language and little dialogue, but they did it! I was on the edge of my seat!

This film is one of the finer quality made films in recent memory. With enough suspense to ensure you don’t lose interest, and a beautiful set-up into the world around it. This movie is truly up there as being one of my favorites and I can only hope the sequel is even better.

Wonderful thriller that has its own genre of scare. Forget zombie apocalypse cliche' that plagues the horror movie category. This deserves a full blown franchise. Glad to see everything in 4k and beautiful HDR

I recieved this from BB with damaged and I'm not happy. They packaged it so cheaply instead of putting it in a box. So. I tried to return it, but its sold out . Now , i play the waiting game and hope that BB gets more in stock or otherwise I'm stuck with the dented Steelbook which i wanted. As far as the movie, its an intense and very good movie. Excellent acting especially by Millicent Simmonds who's quite impressive.

I didn't see this movie in the theater because I thought it sounded kinda boring. Boy was I wrong!! Even though there isn't much dialog in this movie it is one of the most intense movies that I've seen in awhile! Even being mostly just ambient sound the Dolby Atmos surround sound is very immersive! This is a great movie that is a must own!

Just The Opposite Of What A Typical Sci-Fi Fan Would Think This Type Of Movie Should Be. Give This Movie A Chance - Will Hold Your Attention With Great Character Development. The Sequel Is Almost As Good. Dolby Atmos and 4K AV Quality Are Fine.

I'd heard alot about this movie leading up to it, and I'm happy to say it lived up to the expectations. It's a strangely beautiful, unique take on the horror genre that feels somewhat fresh in a world full of stale rehashes. The steelbook's design is simple, but effective, and fits with the theme of the movie- not too flashy or over the top.

Enjoyed this movie on standard Blu-ray, but was definitely an upgrade in UHD HDR. This is a pretty dark film which is helped out quite a bit by HDR. This isn’t necessarily a “big” Atmos soundtrack but great in how it adds to the tension. Overall a worthy addition to the collection.

This is by far one of the greatest horror/thriller films I’ve seen in a very long time. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. There were scenes where I actually held my breath wondering what was going to happen next. The fact that if you make even the tiniest sound could mean the difference between life and death.. it’s brilliant!

A Quiet Place has became one of my top 5 horror movies of all time. I recommend you watch this film with some form of dynamic headphones on. The silence is deafening. The directing, artistic aesthetic, and piercing surround sound break the mold of what a horror film should be.

Awesome sci-fi /suspense film.Great tension and build up in the storyline.The special effects are very well done and effective.Looks awesome on 4K HDR.Highly recommended film to have in your collection.

I was waiting for this to hit DVD because it sounded amazingly different and I wasn't disappointed in the least. The acting was incredible given that it relied mostly on facial expressions and gestures. Although, I wish that I had seen it in the theater because of the eerie quiet - would have been more profound in a room full of people!

A LOT of fun! Just an intense monster movie. One thing that I thought was really unusual (in a very good way): no profanity, no gore, no nudity, rated PG-13 ... and still an excellent monster movie. Scary, fun. Some big plot holes -- but so what? Well worth seeing. An excellent blu-ray too -- great picture and sound quality. Go get it!

I didn't see this in the theater but I love me some Emily Blunt and it looked like a great movie so I bought this, expanding my 4K collection at the same time. Great movie! There were times I wanted to yell at the screen but that does no good so I didn't. I will be watching this over and over in the future! The 4K was great to watch!

This is one of the best HDR/Dolby Atmos material out there. The periods of silence and sudden attacks with the Atoms sound bouncing from speaker to speaker is awesome. Like I said, this disc is a Must as a demo material for every Home Theater

Bought this film because I love science fiction and was testing out a 13” subwoofer. Great LFE under 20 which my sun bottoms out at 17. A movie if you have the right home theater that you can feel. Love it!

This movie was simply amazing right from the start you get some amazing action take place! The acting the detail was amazing for this film! The story was great, the parts were must be touching makes it amazing! I have never been closed to crying as I was this movie! When a certain scene occurred I could not hold it in! I shed a tear!

Excellent story, with good character development. What a treat to see husband and wife acting and directing together in this outstanding film. All of the actors, in this film, do an oustanding job. For those of you who like suspense and enjoy a good scare, this is a film you won't want to miss.

A Quiet Place is actually a drama about overcoming a family tragedy told in the guise of a horror movie. The film escapes detection on 4K Ultra HD with a lovely Dolby Vision HDR presentation, a superb demo-worthy Dolby Atmos track, and a disappointing set of bonus features, but the overall package is nonetheless Recommended.

This was a perfect ride of tension and fright, suitable for the whole family. Well acted, directed, with high values and a great field of sound! It is amazing what you can hear when there is no dialogue and little by way of music! The sounds of silence surround you, with only the ambient sounds that one would encounter in nature.
