A bit disappointed the was so mutch potential to be really funny , just failed to lift off. It had a few moments but that's all

Oh man what a disappoint in this movie.Those two did nothing for the movie. But my purchase at best Buy was good.

Had problem with this video loading with my dvr. tried 2 different disc and still did not work.

Movie was not as good as I had hoped. Slow moving. Nick Nolte was the best part of the movie.

I purchased movie with great anticipation. I was rewarded with a blank disk. I tried obtaining a replacement by going to several stores. They were also blank. I eventually asked for my money back, however, even after multiple returns they wouldn't let me get my money back. Anybody want to buy a blank disk?

The flick is hilarious! The bluray has a glitch. It only plays on the XBox player. We returned it but didn't have time to watch it right away and it was past the return date when I checked the second one. Same deal. Goggled the problem and all of them have it. Save your money!!!!

Purchased again at another store (not a Best Buy as they advised they had no more and could not get it from their warehouse) and it was defective also. Googled and others were defective also. Hopefully, this movie will be re-released and will be able to see it.

Bill Bryson's wryly humorous travelogue gets the big screen treatment with Robert Redford in the lead role, and a supporting performance by a strangely miscast Nick Nolte, but sadly there is no chemistry between the two. A real disappointment.

Tried this blu-ray disc on 4 different blu-ray players and couldn't get anything more than the title to come up. It would cost me as much to mail it back for a refund or exchange as it did to go buy a new one locally.

Snow with green leaves on the trees??? Flannel shirts and jeans for hiking in the rain? Redford must have needed a cash infusion. This wasn't even Sundance worthy.

would not work in my bluray player and the store manager gave me another copy and it wouldn't work but store gave me my money back they did all they could.

Bought 1copy and it wouldn't plat in any of our blu-Ray players. Exchanged for another and same thing. Wouldn't plat in the stores players either.

I expected more from a Robert Redford film. It is a good story but poorly done. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

My husband and I enjoyed this movie. Very interesting storyline of an actual place. Well developed characters

It may have been a good book, but this is not a good move. Couldn't wait for it to be over.

I received 2 copies of this movie from best buy...neither would play! Never got to watch :(

read the book it was better and had much more depth then the movie.

I have hiked a very small portion of the A.T. in Virginia, and the movie brought back the urge to return to hike another section. Watching two legendary actors working together in these surroundings was icing on the cake. In good conscience I couldn't give it 5 stars due to the language and the fact you don't toss around a 50-60 pound pack like they did. Just nitpicking I guess.

Good movie. Robert Redford and Nick Nolte are funny and entertaining. It made you want to go hiking.
