This was one of my favorite books as a child. So, if you are wanting it to be just like the book, it does it some justice, but it's not the same. However, some parts were new and relevant to society today. Just like the Hobbit movies were great, but although some details were true, some parts were so new and original. So watch it the first time, and get out the notions of what you think it should be, and then watch it again to enjoy it for what it is. My youngest, 8, had not read the book and enjoys it as well.

Not a super face paced or big action movie. Very nice images though and would be a great discussion with children after the movie to see what everyone thinks the wrinkle in time really is! Really little kids (like preschool) might not be entertained, but it is a beautiful and thought provoking movie for everyone else. Nice message about having courage and belief in yourself, and also about understanding what others are dealing with.

First, I didn't read the book. Some were not happy. Got it. The first part of the movie is fantastic especially when you go into the new world but thing fall off a bit as the movie goes on. I'm not sure why this is. Picture is clear and colors (when available) are wonderful.

I have read the book several times in my life and was excited to watch the movie. It was disappointing.

Its disney so yeah you get good production. Just not the best movie imo. Includes digital hd tho

Not the best Disney movie, kind of all over the place and hard to follow.

Wasn't a movie that I had wanted to buy, but my husband wanted to see it (based off reading the book) so we got it. Visually the movie was very pretty, and kept your attention. Storyline wasn't hugely intriguing, but it wasn't bad either. Entertained for sure, but probably not a movie I'll watch regularly.
