Great movie to sit back and relax and wait for the jump scares mixed with the fictional upbringing of our 16th president. Leave your knowledge of history at the door and just sit back and enjoy a very good film.

This movie was very much slept on. Of course nobody could see honest Abe as he was portrayed in this movie but its a great twist on the "hidden life" of aone of our greatest presidents. The actor was very convincing!

I thought it was a good movie. Enjoyed the plot and felt it was not to far fetched. Acting was ok. It did not get enough recognition. Competing with blockbuster movies. You add this movie to your collection of good vampire movies. Enjoy

With all of the Vampire movies and now series available too us, I must say that the Producers and Directors truly did a phenomenal job along with a well rounded cast to create a surreal visual experience that had some of the most intriguing and off the charts special effects that I've seen in a long time! This is a movie that every videophile should have in their collection!

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' delivers (even if the premise sounds silly). Director Timur Bekmambetov makes it fun, humorous, and exciting to an outrageous plot about Lincoln battling the undead, but it's mindless fun.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is done very well. All the historical facts are there, dates, names, towns, although it is truth to an extent. Great adaptation from the book and is a very amusing movie.

This was one of those 'How bad can it be?' purchases as I walked by an open basket of blu-rays. Well I'm not gonna lie, this was actually pretty cool and a fun alternate run through Civil War Era history.

This twisted perspective on history willl have you reaching for an axe, preferrably one glazed with sliver. You've never seen our 16th President from this angle. Original, fun and splendid in 3D.

It is a fun retelling of history. we all need to escape reality now and then. using real charicters in fantasy situations , makes this a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

It's a different take on Abraham Lincoln, US President. Vampires have been a favorite movie topic, but in recent years, many of these movies have been disappointing. This was pretty good. I thought the premise sounded funny, but my sister saw it as a first-run, so I gave it a chance. The blu-ray is very good, too. When you adjust your tv settings, the picture is great.

If they can rewrite ROBOCOP, they surely can rewrite LINCOLN. Good entertainment if you can get past the presidency and his legacy. An unusual attempt to make a superhero from a future president., Its TRUE BLOOD IN THE 1800'S or VAMPIRE DIARIES flashbacks. Evil and vicious vampires meeting their doom at the hands ( around an ax ) of honest ABE. There is no in depth conversation with the evil doers as in INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE. Rather lets find them and do them in. And surprisingly what keeps you interested is the fact he was just an honest 6 foot lawyer traveling the Illinois court circuit.

An interesting twist on Abraham Lincoln killing vampires on his way to becoming president. There are some fun action scenes. If you don't go in with high expectations, you should be entertained

This is a great action movie with a unique twist on the role of President Lincoln in history. If you like bizarre, fantasy, action films this one should be on your watch list.

The vampire genre is one of my favorites. When I saw this Blu Ray for $4.99 (!), I grabbed it for my collection. The movie is goofy-fun. Not a classic, but it does have an original story for sure.

This movie follows the documented history of Lincoln's life while at the same time seamlessly working in a story line of vampires living in the United States and the man set on exterminating them.

decent movie and fairly entertaining, funny twist on the life of Abraham Lincoln and vampires. if you can turn off a part of your brain you actually will enjoy this movie. its worth seeing at least once.

Thoroughly enjoy this fun action flick and great twist on an historic man. If you like Vampire movies, this a must watch. Plenty of action, good story line, and visually stunning.

The story was a clever combination of vampire lore with the history of Abraham Lincoln. Special effects were well done and the acting was very good also. 3D added some visual depth to the movie.

I liked this movie. The cinematography was excellent (like the slo-mo) and the special effects (stuff blowing up; vampire makeup) were impressive. Plot and acting were good. Overall very entertaining!

Hey, if you want to watch an Oscar winner, look for it elsewhere. But the concept may be a stupid joke, yet the movie itself . . . well, it's still sort of a stupid joke, but not one badly done.
