It was for my brother. For me personally and my set up i would go bigger but for beginners its a great starting point. The refresh rate is spot on once you get the setup right only issue i had was with the computer itself when we were hooking everything up.

One thing to check with any monitor before you buy it is the ports. Make sure that you have a port on your monitor that matches a port on your computer.

The 100z refresh rate makes casual games look so much smoother, and the clarity is excellent. No complaints here, it's exactly as described. Highly recommend if you're wanting something reasonably priced with great specifications.

It’s about As exciting as sliced bread, but still very good and what you need. Doesn’t have any extreme bells and whistles, but it gets the job done for a good price.

I've never used Acer until now, and will continue to be buying their products since this purchase. I plan on buying another monitor to make a dual monitor setup for my gaming setup.
