Here’s my personal take on the Acer AOPEN 27" Curved FHD Gaming Monitor after spending time with it: Right away, the curve on this screen just pulls you in. I was honestly surprised by how immersive it feels—especially for gaming. The 180Hz refresh rate is super smooth; playing fast-paced shooters, I didn’t notice any tearing thanks to FreeSync Premium. Everything just flowed, and the 1ms response time really helps in competitive games where every split-second counts. Setup was simple—I just plugged in my HDMI and DisplayPort cables and was ready to go. The menu’s easy enough to navigate, and the stand holds steady (even when I accidentally bumped my desk). The monitor looks sharp, too, with those slim bezels and a solid build. When it comes to colors and brightness, they’re pretty good for a budget monitor. Blacks are deep and the contrast makes scenes pop, but it’s not quite as vibrant as some pricier panels. Still, for everyday games and streaming, I was happy with how things looked. The 27” screen gives plenty of real estate, and the 1080p resolution is fine unless you’re sitting really close and hunting for ultra-sharp text. As for negatives, there’s no built-in speakers, so you’ll need headphones or external speakers for sound. For some super fast games with lots of dark scenes, there can be a little ghosting, but unless you’re extremely picky you’ll barely notice. I didn’t have any issues with light bleed or dead pixels on mine, but I’ve seen some reviewers mention it, so it might depend on your luck. Overall it’s a good monitor I had it for like 3 months and haven’t had any issues.

Really liked the monitor, its a little finicky but easy to get the hang of, the colors are a little more dull compared to the ASUS TUF monitor I got in-store but is still really good for gaming

Monitor is okay my 60hz Samsung has better picture quality

The screen colors are terrible...washed out. Very disappointing after reading reviews of how good the color is. Pic has been added to show how faded the colors are (black shows as grey).

This is a great monitor, at an affordable price. I use it a lot at the University. It is quite large and very hands-on monitor. It performs well and until now it has met all the expectations I had for it.

For the cost the size and quality are great. Son needed a bigger screen than laptop for his music production software. Easy to set up and perfect size for his desk. Not too big but allows him to see everything. He is very pleased. He uses Ableton, steam games (lethal company, flight sims, etc) and says it works great.

Clear picture. No lag. Amazing monitor, works really great with my PS5. Wish it had speakers but overall, amazing.

Awesome gift for my son he absolutely loves it great product

I’ve been using this monitor since August, and overall, it meets my needs very well. The display quality is good, and it performs as expected for work and entertainment. However, one thing that bothers me is the pulsing blue light when the monitor is plugged in but turned off. It’s a bit distracting, especially in a dimly lit room. Aside from that, it’s a solid monitor with no major issues. Would be perfect if there were an option to disable that light!

This monitor is great for a starter system. There was some color fading by default, but after finding the right combination between monitor and GPU settings, the blacks were nice and dark and colors were vibrant. Obviously not top-end, but performs better than a standard, cheap monitor.

Product works as intended. No complaints. Durable and great visuals.

I bought this to use for my ps5. The 120hz and hdr look great with no ghosting. UI is a little clunky but has more features than you’d expect. In this price range im not sure what more you could ask for.
