I owned this monitor for 2 years now and the thing won't power up twice now...worst monitor I 've ever owned.

This was a great buy on sale. I ordered a similar priced 28" 4K Samsung from the major online retailer, but it arrived with the box and monitor smashed. They didn't pack it properly, and FedEx must have played soccer with the box. Gotta love brick and mortar stores like Best Buy. I found this one the same day on sale. What I didn't like was their 4K monitor selection. There were only two 28" models to chose from. I settled a bit for this one. Pros: -Picture is good. -Adjustable stand is very nice, can adjust up and down, high enough to go portrait mode. It goes high enough to sit over my open 13" MacBook as a second monitor. Cons: -Colors aren't as saturated as other brands. -The speakers are terrible! Seriously, the worst I've ever heard. They sound like a pair of headphones sitting on my desk which are turned all the way up, and that's not an exaggeration! The 2017 MBP speakers blow this out of the water. I'm replacing my 10 year old Samsung TV/monitor with this, and the speakers on that were 100x better. For the sale price, I'm happy with this monitor. Don't consider buying it if you need good built-in speakers.

My great experience started when I opened the box and there was a Display Port, an HDMI, and a DVI cable in the box. Everything you need is included. I plugged it in and Windows detected and showed the correct resolution immediately. I set the Zoom to 200%, which ends up creating what looks like a 1080p screen but everything is super sharp. It makes text in documents and web pages a breeze to read. I had to log out and back in to get Adobe products to recognize the change but now I have so much room. And I can see 1080 canvases at 100% with ample room for tools and panels.

So i pick this bad boy up during the black friday sales. Even tho there wasn't many reivews for what i was looking for which was for the xbox and so far its been great so far great quality and the stand is really durable. now its letting my have everything checked aside from the 10HDR. Still waiting to see the freescye get turned on but other than that a great buy so far coming from 720p

Purchased this for my PC and my Xbox one s. I had the LG monitor but it wasn't compatible with the Xbox one s. This monitor was hundreds less than the LG, works with the Xbox one s and looks just as nice. Great deal!!!

It was very good monitor and still is but in mine, the display port connector stopped working, i got disturbed and shaking view, only hdmi is still working

So I was in the market for a new monitor, since my old one had a few dead pixels and was starting to become more of a hassle than it needed to be. I checked around online a little and found this beauty of a monitor, I mean 4k Freesync with 80hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time? For only $260? Too good to be true. Ordered it, had some trouble with shipping but that's not why this review has 2 stars. I received the monitor, tested it a bit, and it looks fantastic. HOWEVER, in the "Key features" section of the product page on Best Buy, it clearly states that the refresh rate is 80 hz. Out of the box it was set to 60, which is normal, but when I went to change it up to 80, there was no option. I had it hooked up to my pc via display port, which is the recommended set up to running smoothly, but still no option to change the refresh rate. Tried different cables, thinking that maybe it was just a fluke, but nope. Still nothing. I took to some forums to see if there was any way to override this, and some said most monitors can be overclocked to about 75 hz, and when I attempted that, the screen just didn't show anything. Just black. Needless to say, was very disappointed in the false facts given on the product page, will be returning within the next day. The monitor itself is decent enough, but is not what was advertised.

I purchased this monitor a year ago and was extremely impressed. The picture quality and performance are fantastic. However, about a month ago, I started getting a black box on the screen. I did some research and found out I had to use the buttons on the monitor to remove (basically...get into the menu). That is when I discovered 3 of the buttons were not working (one of them was the one I needed to use). I opened up a case and was prepared to send it back. I tried a couple more times to get the buttons to work and finally got the one I needed to work long enough to get the box off the screen. So I figured I would just use it and hope I didn't need the buttons again. A couple weeks later, the power button on the front started acting flakey and then it became unusable. I then reopened the case with Acer to get the warranty work done. I started looking into the cost of shipping it back (OH to TX) and it will cost $120! That is 40% of what I paid for it! It would be so great if they could source the work to someone local so I don't have to spend so much money shipping it back. Their support reps were very helpful when setting up the support ticket but this is awful I have to shell out this much for the work to get done.

Worked amazingly until last week when the menu buttons stopped working and now it will turn on and just give me a black screen.

This is a great monitor that I paired with my Xbox One X would definitely recommend this. However it does not have HDR capability

At first I thought this was great, but soon realized It had Dead Pixel Upon Purchase. This monitor was not tested properly.

Stopped working after 90 days. Only displayed Acer and Energy Star logo, but no matter what cable, port or computer I tried or button I pressed, nothing displayed. Couldn't return to store (Park Meadows, Centennial, CO). People were rude too. Called Acer. I now have to pay almost $50 to get it repaired/replaced. If I hadn't paid $300, I would just throw it in the trash.... Will NEVER buy another Acer again nor shop at that Best Buy!!!!

Returned it because the colors looked really bad on my ps4

Really struggled with my 2017 MacBook. When it worked, it was nice, but most of the time it was very painful to get it to display. Very frustrating.
