    Not for a professional gamer, but for the price you pay, the Acer KA242YAbi is a good value. I thought the colors were crisp and clear. It’s simple to setup right out of the box. Just attached the stand (with care – lay it down and do it correctly) and attach your cables and you are off and running. I do have a complaint about the ports. There are only two and they are a little hard to access because they are towards the middle/behind the back bevel. Pros- Nice price for entry level gaming monitor Good picture quality (1080P) and Refresh rate (75Mhz) Blue-light Filter Easy setup Monitor tilts Sleek and attractive Cons - Only 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port (no USB ports) and their placement No height adjustment All in all, it’s a decent monitor for the money. If you play on console or do not have a high-powered gaming PC, then this will suit you well. If you are professional, then I’d spend the extra money to get the better fresh rate to match your setup. I didn’t notice a difference when freesync was on or off…but I might not have been pushing the settings for my laptop enough. Overall, it’s well worth it’s money for what you get.

    It's a nice monitor but it wouldn't work with my Lenovo computer despite lots of effort from Geek Squad. I'm sure it would be an excellent monitor for those who can use it.

    I am sure it would have been fine. Yes, I bought it, but I had to return it because the problem had not been in the Monitor but with the Computer.

    The monitor works fine , but I didn’t realize when I purchased it that it was not height adjustable and it is too high for my desk and chair

    The monitor had a good display at first, But after two weeks it started to give me trouble. It would not come on and went to a black screen. It started to work after an hour this first time. So this screen finally went out and would not come back on. It has a white screen now and I have tried everything to revive it. Don’t buy this monitor it’s not worth it, even though it’s cheap.

    Bad picture quality

    Not too geat of picture quality. I set it up as a second monitor for work puposes and the picture was blurry. Tried to fix the settings but still poor picture quality.

    The monitor works like you would expect but if it weren’t such a huge pain I would return it and still might because the on button is big and wobbly and is made in a fashion that I feel like it will break soon. I don’t care for it at all. It is also slow to startup.

    White Sceen of Death

    It was great when it worked. I bought two for a dual screen set up but one of them died about a week in so I returned them both. It was the white screen of death. I've heard others complain of this problem as well. I switched them out for a pair of the samsung curved screens. Much better product for my use case IMO.
