This monitor did not even recognize my computer's video output. Yes, I validated this finding by trying other ports and even other monitors. There was no question that it was this monitor. I returned the monitor and had the SAME PROBLEM with the next monitor (same model). This finding was again validated by switching ports and testing on a different computer and with a different monitor. There was no question that there is something intrinsically wrong with this monitor. If you like a pretty-looking monitor that will not go on, this is the monitor for you. The advantage is that you will absolutely not be distracted by social media or the internet and can go read a book, go outside and get fresh air, or do paperwork.

Brought for working out of state and one wrong move screen got scratched

Has one HDMI input -- does alright as an external / second monitor for a laptop.

This is a simple but good gaming monitor that has a great picture. For me, the colors seem right and the display is bright with minimal glare. I set this up to use with my gaming laptop and have to say it works great! The AMD FreeSync definitely is noticeable if you have a graphics card that supports it as you'll see less tearing in fast moving action in games. In FPS games this is critical and this monitor so far is a great entry level for gaming. I do wish it had more connectivity options and didn't have the VGA port but if you did have an older system that required the VGA port this would be great for that. In similar size monitors I would definite recommend this one as it's high refresh rate and response time makes a difference in gaming and video. In terms of features, there aren't many on this one but what it lacks it makes up for in terms of picture and gaming. It has the slim bezel that most high end monitors have so that's also another thing that I really like about this monitor. Overall I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a gaming monitor in this size - especially if you have a gaming laptop with an AMD Graphics card and want to dock it to a decent display for gaming!

Acer products have always seemed to me to be hit and miss. I've had products from them that are top of the line, while others that seem like knock-offs for a premium brand. This is my first time purchasing an Acer monitor though. Overall, this is a solid monitor for its price point. I like the fact that I don't need any tools to put the stand together. I also like the ease of setup being relatively plug and play. However, the "plug" was my main problem. It seems that most monitors have at least three ways to connect the display to your CPU (HDMI, VGA and USB-C). Unfortunately for me this monitor does not have a USB-C port which is what I needed to attach to my docking station. I did find an aftermarket HDMI to USB-C adapter that did the job. As for colors, contrast and brightness, this monitor does not disappoint. You will probably find that you need to turn the brightness down a tick, which is uncommon for me to do. My daughter uses this screen mainly for graphic design and drawing while it's docked with her Surface Book 3. Detailed image quality are important to her for these tasks and she loves the monitor. Overall, this monitor is solid, but with the lack of a USB-C port or at the very least a USB-C adapter included, I gave four stars. However, I would recommend this monitor to friends and family.

Very nice display. Deep rich colors, full HD1080p, super high 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 1ms response time, and 75Hz refresh rate. All these traits combined and you've got a pretty nice display here. Very bright as well, the 250 candela per square meter make this display crystal clear and works great even in well lit space. I really like the appearance of the the super slim bezel and its small footprint on the desk. This also seems extremely lightweight for its size. HDMI and VGA ports make setup quick and simple. I use this primarily as a second/larger screen with my laptop and works great every time. Very happy with it.

You get what you pay for, no speakers. Why a minimum of fifty characters?

After the it was too late to return the monitor (day 10), it started going out when I connected to my computer. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. Annoying for how much I paid for this monitor and was sold on it by the Best buy staff member. Anybody want to buy a Acer monitor?

It is ok, not worth the price, hdmi and power connectors randomly cut out all the time if i move the monitor slightly. have tried changing the cables, its the monitor itself that has bad hardware. save yourself the trouble.

It's a very nice monitor but even the Geek Squad couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work with my Lenovo computer. We tried many different cables, options, and ideas but none worked so I returned the monitor. I'll find one that works at another time.

this is just an ok monitor. debated between a 2 and 3 star. so I will choose the better. I guess ill start with the couple good things about it. It has a great response and does not seem to have a glowing effect. I have another monitor that I can set between 1, 2, 3 and 4ms and it seems to have a glow effect if i set below 4. and last thing is that it has freesync for those who use amd graphics cards and who cant run games above 75fps. but that is about it. My son enjoys using it with first person games on his console. so its great for that as well. its in that perfect screen size range. but for me, being its only 1920x1080, i would have at least liked 120hz. i would have loved to see it with g-sync as well for nvidia cards. it lacks ports, 1 hdmi and 1 vga which is pretty much outdated these days. would love to see at least another hdmi port. it tilts but you cant lift it up or down. it also does not have much for options within the menu. i have a couple monitors now that lets you set a crosshair on, as well as has built in blue filter. this is nice as i used to use blue filter glasses but i like it much better with the monitor instead of wearing glasses. overall not to much a fan for this monitor. if you play on console and cant get more then 60 fps then its a decent choice. but if you play higher then 75 fps like with a pc, then i suggest a monitor that has higher hz to choose from.

A fundamental thing that most gamers know is they want to minimize input lag when possible, as it could be the influence over "life and death" gaming situations. After input lag, usually for me and I would suspect for other gamers would come visual/display quality. This monitor product by Acer I think fits the bill for a lot of gamers out there, though I would say in particular this is a great product for the casual gamer who may not be too heavy into their set-up and specs, and if you play console on a desk or small space. Firstly, once plugged in and set-up, this monitor works immediately without additional set-up needed. It does come an with a HDMI cable of pretty good length and a VGA cable, too. While it can tilt vertically, it doesn't have a height adjustment. So, you may require a monitor stand depending upon your preference. The visual settings are also easy to navigate if you would like to modify those, which I was able to do for my own experience rather quickly. The picture quality is also pretty good for the price range this falls in, and the viewing angles are also pretty nice. This monitor also doesn't have speakers nor sound output, but I don't mind that at all as I usually wear headphones of some kind. While this monitor can be used for everyday use of things, I have tried this monitor out with both my PC and consoles and I would say that I enjoy the experience of using this monitor more with my consoles overall. With that said, I am a casual to moderate gamer. But for the average casual gamer or everyday PC user for tasks and business related things, this monitor does get the job done. Overall, it is a good monitor for a broad spectrum of electronic consumers, and I would recommend this product to be considered for anyone who falls into that range, or those who may want an additional visual display. Well this turf lasted exactly 2 months and then died. Bright white screen. No response from any buttons. Awesome. As a former Best Buy employee all I can think to myself is…. Should of bought the warranty lol

This monitor is quick and easy to setup. It looks great, and is great for gaming with such a fast response time. IT also looks and works great for work. I don't have anything negative to say about this monitor. It's easy to unbox and setup, and then it just works.

Pulled it out the box the LCD panel was damaged and I had a 1yr warranty and they refuse to refund or replace the product

This is an excellent monitor for gaming with 75 fps or less. I have a RTX 3080 and my card far exceeds this monitors refresh rate. The response felt instant when connected via HDMI it ran the full 75fps but that is the monitors limits. The picture quality is ok and there was minimal backlight bleeding. I think this monitors is best for users of consoles or PC gaming with say GTX1650-RTX 3050 GPU. Once you get to the RTX 2060/3060 then the card will outperform the display. This left me wanting a higher refresh rate. I did not test the VGA as I would not connect that way for gaming. HDMI is clearer and better for framerates. For the money it serves the purpose just as long as your expectations are in alignment.
