This monitor has a lot of good things going for it but the issues it has was a deal breaker for me. The native contrast ratio is very low and even though it has local dimming zones, it ruins the picture quality when used. HDR is a nightmare to use as other reviewers have noted but the deal breaker for me was the menu navigation and buttons that broke off while calibrating.

When you pack over 8 million pixels into a 27-inch screen, you get a high pixel density (163.18 per inch) that lends itself to crisp detail. That’s common of all 4K monitors this size, but there’s no denying that on the Acer Nitro XV275K (P3biipruzx) it makes patterns on fabrics and rich textures in games appear more lifelike. It’s much harder to catch a jagged edge without leaning in extra close to the display. I personally find 1440p at this size to generally be more than enough, but for serious detail hawks, 4K just provides that much more to love (assuming you have a GPU that can power it).
The Acer Nitro XV275K combines that clarity with a fast pixel response time that protects those sharp edges from the softening effects of ghosting. Fast moving objects on the screen don’t have long blur trails lagging behind them.

This monitor is a big step up from my previous 1080p monitor. However, on a black screen the whites are very washed. Also, with the price of OLED monitors coming down I would trade this for a OLED in a heartbeat.
I think OLED monitors of the same size cost as much as this monitor did just 10 mo the ago.

This is a good monitor however for me i didnt like it. One problem was my stand uses a 100x100 vesa mount and this monitor had a 75x75mm mount. So i had to use longer screws. Also i had some weird screen flickering at times on certain games. But i think that may have been from my gpu not being able to handle the resolution. The picture quality was alright but not amazing. I returned this and went oled instead.

4k is incredible! Would have kept this monitor for the mini led technology but I could not get the colors right which was especially noticeable in windows during productivity tasks. In gaming it wasn’t noticeable. Ended up returning this for the newest LG 27 oled (27GS). If the colors were more what I was expecting I would have kept this monitor though, great value!

Exceptional hardware paired with poor/non existent QA to provide a product that -on paper- should be a better alternative to oleds due to their poor max (sustained) luminance and burn in. do yourself a favor and avoid this monitor, it will fail on you regardless of warranty. buy an oled or get the better MSI E16M. Which has better CSupport, better firmware and objectively better OSD controls over this garbage 4 button nav that Acer decided was the move. Or, give in and get an oled. It's your money.

The resolution and brightness of the monitor is great. I'm having issues with it at the moment tough. My monitor will randomly black out and the only way to fix it is rebooting my whole PC. I cant get into the BIOS if I use DisplayPort, the screen doesn't turn on until the login screen appears.
It's fantastic when it's working though.

Bought on a recommendation from someone else as a good primary monitor for a Mac Mini. Did not disappoint. Good resolution up to 3840 at up to 144 Hz refresh, at a reasonable price. Connects with usb-c, hmdi, others. Two passthrough USB-A ports, and two HMDI.

Pretty good but comes with dimming turn on and finding it in settings was a challenge when they bury it to make it impossible to find and the display was so low you couldn’t tell what you were clicking on. Once I turned off display dimming it turned out to be an amazing display with very nice color reproduction. I use it as my second display where media content thrives on with the color and display brightness

If you can find a good deal for this monitor then go for it. It checks all the boxes of what a mid tier monitor with upgraded specs. I came from a old tv set and was shopping around for a monitor around the 500$-600 range. The only I was disappointed with is the usual light blooming from LED. It’s not so bad but it’s paired with matte screen. Also the the I/O CONTROLS WERE A HEADACHE.

I just wish this monitor was 31.5" and has speakers then it would be perfect- had to return because it neatively affected my gameplay losing nearly 15" from my previous display

The visuals and text clarity are amazing! I do however have some issues with gsync (over hdmi) causing black screens with full screen games. The navigation buttons are also very tedious and confusing to use.
If neither of those sound like deal breakers it is the perfect monitor for the price.

This is a decent monitor. It has Mini LED but it doesn’t help. Blacks still need help. I had the Sony Inzone M9 27” 4k. It’s more expensive then the Acer. The Acer is similar quality for less money. Get this Acer over the Sony Inzone.
The UI on this Acer is pathetic. You can’t even see it. It’s way to small. Shame on them. The Sony UI much much better. Way better.
