Great monitor for great price

Higher refresh rate is more important to me than resolution since the monitor is 27" and pixel density is still high, I don't feel like I'm lacking in either department. Speakers are weak, which was expected, so I hooked up a pair into the aux port on the back and have strong sound too.

Around 500 nits at full brightness. The mount is very good and one of the best ones I've used. No concerns about it magically disconnecting itself (which happened on my Omen display). The speaker bar sounds like a walkie-talkie so I recommend going into sound settings and disabling it completely.

So Far So Good

I also like the fact that it has no wall wart power supply, just a regular 3-wire cord. Finally, I like how easy it is to disconnect the support arm and base, making it easy to transport.

Ease of use at it's best

Easy maneuverability, tilt / hight adjustable, great picture quality. Haven't tried game yet - sound out of monitor is not bad ! Overall great choice - happy with the quality. Great value for the money !

Not sure if it's worth the price

However, I use 2 of these for my job. I have had these for a little over a month and I've had the same issue 3 or 4 times so far. After my computer wakes up the screen will be nothing but snow (if you remember old tv's after hours you know what I mean). I have changed both HDMI cables twice (new ones, not old ones) and it still happens. I have not used the Display Port so I cannot speak on that. The only way to fix this issue is to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. Turning it off/on. I've had this happen on multiple settings as well (HD, not HD, etc etc). Since Best Buy has changed their return/exchange policy (I used to be an Elite Plus member), I guess I'll be contacting Acer.
