I love that it made an effort to be somewhat upgrade-able. I do wish the screen had better color quality as it is somewhat washed out but it's not terribly noticeable in general use. I barely ever use it not connected to a charger so I can't speak to the battery life but it runs FFXIV very well (pre-Dawntrail graphics upgrade).

It was a killer value and served him well, though it limited his gaming experience. This seems to perform OK for his needs, but he doesn't play a lot of games that tax a laptop's resources. Only issue so far is the fan. Surprised it runs constantly with an SSD and could be quieter. I could understand more if he played real demanding games. A month into ownership and the fan is making a whine. We'll see how smoothly a warranty claim goes.

It's reasonably fast and the video card easily keeps up with most video games, What surprised me was how well this is built. The screen on previous Acers were fragile compared to this monster. I was very pleased with the audio volume. I returned an MSI Bravo 15 because I could barely hear the audio. I'm very pleased with its overall performance.

Good budget laptop with poor battery life

New laptop

It does everything I need it to. Only downsides are the poor battery life amd really weak speakers. I added a 1tb m.2 nvme ssd as well.
