Great gaming laptop! Very upgradable and also very good for photo editing and video processing. I love the native Nitro Sence with one press of a button Shows you fan, speed, temperature of GPU and CPU, just a cool fun thing to play around with in check out your system. Best Buy has the greatest.

Very slow computer, couldn’t handle games well at all. A basic game like roblox was very choppy.

The Acer Nitro 5 15.6" Gaming Laptop with Intel Core i5, NVidia GeForce, 16GB, 512SSD runs Great! I'm not a heavy Gamer but I like to play Final Fantasy 14 and a few other online games. Setup went very quickly, as I didn't have to transfer any files to this laptop. There were no problems connecting to my home network. Acer Nitro 5 comes with Windows11 64bit operating system installed. Playing the games were very smooth, even with the graphics settings on high. The speakers are basic, nothing special. The RGB keyboard is really neat and fully customizable, yet still comfortable while just typing. The cooling is great as well. After playing for several hours the GPU doesn't reach over 72 degrees. The battery life is decent. It will last a couple of hours while playing. I mostly leave it plugged in while playing for better performance. In my opinion, this is a great, affordable entry level laptop. Perfect for a student that needs a PC for school, but also likes gaming. Highly recommend.

Motherboard died within the 14 day return window. After about 6 days or so, it would just shut off while playing Destiny 2. Then on day 12 it died for good and try to boot, but never made it past the keyboard lighting up. I've have two older Acer Nitro 5 laptops (2017 models) and decided to try another but that did not work out. Once it died, I did a little web surfing. Found out that this seemed to be a common problem among this generation of Nitro 5s. Luckily mine was still the return window so I was able to return it with ease.

Great laptop for the price. It boots up really quick, and doesn't slow down much if at all. My only one thing is there are no "true" volume buttons, you have to use the function button and turn the volume up or down that way. Overall I am completely happy with the purchase!

Looks like it can handle my gaming which is just enough to keep an old guy busy. Love the keyboard lights that can be configured to which colors you want and light up in different ways, powerful fan and looks like it's built for gaming.

Switched to a Gaming laptop... big mistake. Batter t life deserves 0 stars. It only worked when plugged in. Ran much slower than any regular laptop Ive owned. I missed touch screen so Im going back to my Lenove with oled and a better graphics card.

Gift for husband. He loves the feel and colors of backlit keyboard. Had a couple problems with getting used to Win 11. Will update soon as he has had more time learning how to operate it. Not being used for gaming.

I bought this laptop believing that it would be the best laptop I could buy at an affordable price. I've had it for a year and suddenly the "powerful gaming laptop that promise top tier performance" turned off while I was playing. It didn't turn on for half an hour and then every time I played it ran too slow. I sent it to Acer to "fix" and I'm afraid it remains exactly as I sent it. I don't know if it was me who got the black sheep of the family, but I don't recommend it.
