The computer really needs a SSD drive to maximize the true potential of the system. This will be my first upgrade, then the memory will be next. Fine machine.

My son is getting into all things gaming and STEM. This purchase has allowed him to have a reliable platform to build from.... and he loves the gaming too.

my son bought this with my brother, but due to red background lights, it is hard for him to see. problem solves got keyboard cover with white letters!!

I primarily is it for remote streaming onto my actual gaming computer but it can play games most of the time

I love this laptop. I've had no issues with the exception of AC Syndicate being a little choppy with the 1050. That being said, overall I love this thing.

this is a very nice laptop, i will express my views honestly so you can make up your mind, don't expect it to be a beast at gaming it handles most games at the very minimum of requirements, I determined that guild wars 2 runs around 24-35 fps depending off your settings it handles moba type games on the very minimum of settings. you will also need a external dvd drive if you are into doing video work relating to using a dvd drive.

Very good sound. I have it connected to my Desktop. The one draw back that it goes to a sleep mode after non use. Have not been able to find a fix.

I have been using it sparingly but the times I have used it have been great! No problems that weren't fixable. Love the keyboard layout. Like the many features for the touchpad. Will be upgrading RAM and Hard drive to SSD in the near future.

Chose the AMD chipset and have found it to perform at or better than expected. Windows OS is the only distraction with all its constant updates -

Love the illuminated keyboard. Wisper quiet and cool running. Have not had any problems so far, let's see if it goes five years. Have an older Acer computer, still working, with no issues. I would purchase another Acer product without worry.

This is a good computer even though within a few days of owning it windows wouldnt load but I got it exchanged and it's working smooth now.

He likes to play games & needed something with dedicated graphics, which this computer has. Works well for him & he is happy with it.

We purchased this laptop mainly for my wife to use with photoshop and lightroom programs which obviously use large picture files. We purchased this laptop due to it having good gaming video capability but unfortunately there have been conflicts between the photo software and the video card which make any images scrambled. Could not find an online solution so ended up disabling the video card to go with the stock set up.

I got this laptop for me and my son. We are big into gaming and wanted to move to the PC platform. The picture quality is amazing!!! Haven't had an issue with running slow or any lagging. So far a great gaming laptop!

I am not a gamer, but I needed something more than a basic computer can handle. I can watch videos, do homework, have multiple chromebook and windows windows open at one time. Does not slow down and has a lot of storage.

This is a pretty decent mid-range 1080p gaming laptop. The design is nice. I like the colors and the shape of the case. You can tell by looking at it that it is marketed towards gamers and not for businessmen. The case is a brushed metal color with orange highlights. The laptop is sleek and the metal doesn't leave fingerprints. The performance you get for the price is pretty good. For under $700 you 8 GB of RAM with 4 GB of dedicated VRAM. The processor is 4 cores up to 8 threads and can clock up to 3.4 GHZ. It comes with a 1 terabyte hard drive but has a space where you can add another drive. There is also another slot for Memory so that you can up to another 8GB if needed. The screen is full 1080p with pretty good contrast and color accuracy. I never have issues viewing it no matter what time of day it was. This laptop was able to handle several games at full 1080p with pretty good fps on high or near high settings. I played some Overwatch and Destiny 2 on it and didn't experience any issues and the games looked great. For the price you can't beat the performance. This is a great mid range laptop. I highly recommend.

Love the light up keyboard and the built in cooling fans. The graphics card is great although I am not a gamer but use it for my graphic software and photography software. I would buy this again if need be.

I definitely got my moneys worth out of this computer in the first month or so! The keyboard light is VERY convenient. It's also durable. (both of my 10lb pets have used it as a place to sit, and it's still fine!)

My 17 year old uses this for gaming at home. It is also light weight enough to carry to and from school so that he can do classwork on it. I am very pleased with this laptop for the price. Worth every penny.

This is a good affordable option for a gaming laptop. The graphics card could be better but overall it is a good option.
