It has been a surprise of a purchase. I would buy it again given the chance

Needed the hud caddy and SATA cable that was missing.

Works great but has short battery. processing speed is good.

Poor quality in the first year that we owned it it was back in the shop for repairs over three times until the warranty were out they would not replace it they would not say that it was broken beyond repair even though each time was the same repair the cord that connects the keyboard portion of the laptop to the screen portion of the laptop is too short and upon opening and closing it it will become disconnected and laptop will stop working

Son had this laptop less than a year and the screen would constantly go out. From what I read it’d a common problem with this laptop, no problem it’s still under warranty. Acre calls today and because he had a minor scratch on it, it voided the warranty but they will fix it for $350.. WOW! First time buying this brand and definitely the last because the scratch had nothing to do with the screen not working.

Purchased DEC. 20 2019 it is now Jan. 31 2020 just opened 2 days ago and went to plug in charger and noticed that charger port that goes into the computer is damaged it almost looks like it's disintegrating. When I called to see if maybe I could be sent a new charger I was told nothing they could do. Do yourselves a favor don't purchase this computer if you do look it over before the return policy goes out.

For the price I'm disappointed there is no head phone port for the kids to use. Also not a touchscreen.

Battery drained so fast, it takes only 1 hour to use, although it charges in full.

we returned this model TWICE! with the same issue. screen would black out in the middle of use. sometimes logging the user off. We went with a Dell

Laptop started on fire. Store said the battery was overheating from overvoltage. Buyer Beware.

I bought the laptop 1 month ago and the whole laptop would not turn on anymore

I brought this laptop early in March, I have been using it for 3+ months now and I must say that it's a very solid laptop especially the fact that I got it for only $600. Despite me giving it 5 stars it's not perfect, the sound on this thing is pretty poor, but since it's for gaming it doesn't matter too much because most gamers use headsets i guess. The picture quality on this laptop is pretty good 1080p videos are crisp for the price. I mainly do my work on this laptop and boy is it fast super speedy for everyday use and work use. As for gaming it can run most games at 1080p 60fps at medium settings. This would be great if you want to play older games at max settings. I'm not a gamer but it's pretty solid to use for gaming and the nitro-sense keeps the laptop cool. Overall this laptop is a steal for the price and the red backlit keyboard looks pretty cool. Plus I like the fact it has a numeric keypad to the side it comes in handy when doing my accounting work.

Best gaming laptop for begginers and the use of multiple apps runs pretty well.

I got this for myself, First off Best Buy is a COMPLETE rip off, they lie to get money, I got this from the Best Buy in Mansfield Ohio, The guy I talked too asked for the games ill mainly be playing, I also let my little brother play it, he is 13, he has done nothing bad too it either. He plays the same games as me besides he plays Roblox, So All games ever ran on this laptop were Farming Simulator 17, Farming Simulator 19, Roblox, Flashing Lights, BeamNGDrive, Storm Chasers, Minecraft, My Summer Car, Garry's Mod, CS:GO, And GTA V, The employee even asked what games ill mainly be playing, He say'd it would run ALL these games I did play on this, They can't run any of them but a few roblox games on low graphics at all without having the screen lag the whole thing, It wasn't just the game it was the whole screen This JUNK can't handle Roblox from the first day without getting to 217 Degrees Fahrenheit, Ridiculous, How my old 2017 HP was 2x better than this and ran those games slightly better than this, It wasn't even a gaming one, Don't buy from best buy, Since they rip your off. Now I know Im going to have a bot or maybe a actual person say, Hello I'm Karen, I am so sorry for this etc. Thanks best buy hope you enjoy my money...

Broke down after less than 3 years. Used it primary if for work and surfing the internet. Failed one morning after some light use. No WiFi, battery won't keep a charge. Bought on the recommendation of CNET.

When my Acer Nitro 5 worked it was a great laptop. Unfortunately there are issues with the motherboard so there is a good chance your laptop will die within a year. Mine lasted about a year and a half then suddenly died. If you buy this laptop you better get the extended warranty. I will not be buying Acer next time.

Nothing will load, no difference between MacBook and this price of trash. Not much difference in graphics either. Also doesn’t help that it’s giant and heavy and requires a massive cord. Bad battery life and the touchpad doesn’t work half the time. Waste of money.
