love it added 8gb more of ram so eve online plays very smooth

I am using close to more than 1 year and its realy so good computer for everything. And Realy good gaming computer too. I realy recommend and so good price just the Ram is A little but its realy working well.

My kid loves playing with it. Like the graphics of the screen.

Purchased for gaming purposes. Has been running great.

Bought 2 of these laptops for business purposes. One of the laptops was DOA (would not charge, would not boot). The other booted and things installed fine. I'll say that the fan noise is quite loud (significantly louder than my HP Omen gaming laptop). At the end of the day, ordering 2 brand new laptops and only having 1 of them work is a pretty solid disappointment. And no, Acer, I'm not going to contact your customer service to have you try to fix a laptop that was dead on arrival. Do some QC work before these things leave the factory.

Competent at what it does for the price paid. Fully capable of upper end gaming BUT only after replacing the included ram with 2 8GB ram sticks FPS jumped in Apex Legends from 55 AVG to 80 AVG at High Quality settings.

Love this laptop. It may not have the best graphics card, but it is still a pretty good card. This is a great budget laptop that with some small upgrades will help to make it a lot better. Few reasons for 4 stars though. It did not come with a sleeve. I have an older model of this same laptop that came with a sleeve. Instead, it comes with a keychain. I like the keychain, but a sleeve would also have been nice. It only has 1 hard drive and its only 512gigs. It would have been nice to see it come with a TB even if it would have been an HDD. It only has the 8 gigs of ram. Not bad and it does the job. It also has 4 gigs of vram so that helps out when you are gaming. lastly the power cord. Wife was home when this arrived and was sad as she thought the laptop was broken. It came completely dead, which all my other laptops have always had some battery life. Then she plugged it in, (so she thought) and still nothing. I got home and thought the same thing. But I decided to press on the power cord into the laptop and then it clicked in even more. Then the light came on, a couple minutes we were able to power it on and set it up. I say this because it did feel like it was plugged in when we first plugged it in. Now why I enjoy this laptop. For price, you still get a solid laptop that you can do a lot of simple tasks like schoolwork, internet, Facebook etc. But you then can also play new games. When not gaming, you can set this so that it will save power and not run the RTX 3050. Normally I prefer to have it set to max and run the RTX 3050. I love the keyboard, and RGB lights, not everyone does but I personally like that option. And like that it has the ten keypad. I also like having a 17in screen size myself. Makes it a little harder to find a bag, but I just like having the bigger screen. So far it has stayed fairly cool. When gaming you can hear the fans kick on and they work great so far. Gaming wise I have only been playing cod, and Fortnite mainly. Wife has some older games that she plays as well as games thru facebook. All play great. COD, I had on lower settings, but it did play the game just fine. WIFI seems pretty fast, except when I am downloading things like games. But works great for watching videos and even playing games online. Couple upgrades that are easy. Add more ram, has a slot to add another stick. And more storage. I added a 2TB hard drive. It was easy to do but a little time consuming as you have to remove all the screws from the back, and then pry it open. Then once installed, have to format the HD and assign it a letter. But with games these days, they take up a lot of space. Cod is 200gigs which is half of the hard drive. And I just like how the Nitro laptop looks. I have always like red and black together. If you're looking for a great budget laptop, this is it. Great for doing schoolwork with, and still has some power to play games.

Laptop runs great but the battery it’s all that good I have keep it plugged in

I bought this laptop because I thought it would be good for gaming but I've had it for a year and it is already falling apart. The sound barely works it is so quiet that I had to add a Google Chrome extension just to get the volume up. The red pieces on the back have started coming off and a piece of the side has fallen off completely. The battery is also just completely crap when playing a game it only lasts about 30 minutes depending on the game, and if it does last a little longer it is burning hot. The fans are not quiet at all and barely work. Do better acer

Headphone portion is incredible, microphone not so much. Bought as a Bluetooth headset. With the adapter, voice is great, but without it, Is a little choppy. 8/10

Everything worked good. It was fast clear bright screen. Here we are one year 22 months later it won’t power up. I don’t know if the power adapter is bad or the batteries bad but either way it should not happen this soon.

This is beast..... Completely satisfied. Really satisfied with this purchase. The laptop runs smoothly and the charging speed is also quite faster than i expected. The IPS FHD display looks good as well.

Acer does not disappoint. Best value for money and performance. Very reliable, as evidenced by the 13 yrs I've had a small laptop that is still chugging along. Recommend this laptop, even if you are not a "gamer".

No complaints with this. I am able to play GTA and all of my emulators!! Only thing I would like is more space, but other than that I would recommend 10/10

This is a very good laptop, high performance, quality video and sound.

works great love the setting to set how fast the fans can go. Just dont like getting kick in the middle of a game just window closet out of no where but no problems to start up again.

This thing overheats like crazy. I purchased it to run 1 game (the sims 4)…I have most of the expansion packs and some custom content. The laptop gets sooooo hot about 5 minutes into the game. I have to turn the fans to the highest level to get the temperature down.

Best for the money! I looked at all on the Best Buy web site and this was the most bang for the buck!

I like this gaming laptop, not bad for the price.and i can rely on the battery lifespan.
