I have purchesed for my grandpa and he loves it so great gift for loved one

it did not work - apparently it was a factor malfunction - they replaced the new lap top with another one. Hoping this one works better. So far so good.

For call of duty it’s not good as other gaming laptops but work

I purchased this laptop, and the first one wouldn't turn on or even charge. I took it back and exchanged it without a hassle, the second one powered on but wouldn't charge. I exchanged it for a third one at a completely different store location and that one wouldn't power on as well. I ended up just getting a refund and began the search for a different laptop, had high hopes for this one ... The screen was nice and the speed was nice on the one that I actually got to use briefly so I did leave stars for that.

Awesome laptop. Incredible boot speed. Not had any issues with it.

Works great as promised right out of the box. Setup with Windows 11 and updating up to date was all automatic.

Got this for my brother in law he has never had a laptop and he really likes it especially the big screen

The only reason I will give it a two star rating is because it is sold as a gaming computer. I have used it to play the most popular spectrum of games and there is no possible way that I could even compete with the delay. Can’t keep up unless you’re playing minesweeper and costs too much. Go big PC build if you like anything popular.

Stay far, far, far away from this computer, especially if you like using the audio. I purchased this computer February 13th. After a Windows update a couple of weeks ago, my audio stopped working. It didn't recognize there was a speaker at all. Since it's under warranty, I sent it in. I just got it back today and guess what?!? As soon as the required updates ran, the same thing happened. All Acer did was reset the computer. Then I called customer support, and they told me to "not install Windows updates then." That's the solution. Except my webcam needs the updates and so does my keyboard. So I can have one thing, but not everything I need to do my job. I bought this for work thinking it would be a great computer. It's horrible. Acer customer service is horrible. I will never purchase another Acer again.

It’s definitely an upgrade to what we had before but was hoping for it to be a little better

- The RTX 3050 seems to be performing the same as the lower tear 1650 - The specks for this laptop show max memory 32 gigabyte, bur this laptop supports memory upgrade up to 64 gigabyte.

Don't buy this garbage! I relied on a review of this model from late 2021, there was no other in reference to the changes Acer did. It has only 8 GB of RAM and is not upgradeable because it's soldered! I don't have installed Microsoft Office 2021 and yet a low-memory message pops up when I'm not running Chrome and Word. I did not return it hoping to find a way to upgrade, and now Bestbuy says cannot return it because the deadline was 10/5/22 and bought it on 9/20/22!

Laptop failed after 18 days. Currently at acer warranty repair

The Acer-Nitro 17.3” gaming laptop is a nice laptop for my gaming needs. It comes with a huge 17.3” 1080p screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has really good viewing angles, and the screen looks really nice. The laptop has some weight to it. It’s not something I would always throw in my bag, but it’s portable enough for those times when I want to game on the go or take it to another room in the house for use. It was a good number of ports. It has USB 3.2, Headphone jack, Ethernet, USB-C, and HDMI ports. The HDMI port is located on the rear of the laptop. This makes it ideal when connecting an external monitor without having the HDMI cable sticking out from the side of the laptop. The power cable is also on the rear, which makes cable management ideal. The full sized keyboard with number pad is great. The keys have a good bit of key travel and it feels good to type on. The keyboard keys are RGB. The default color is Red for all keys, but it can be customized into 4 different zones with each zone having its own color. The speakers are decent. They get fairly loud, but the lack of bass makes them average. I would have expected better sound from the speakers due to the size and thickness of the laptop. I guess since it’s not as high end as more expensive laptops. The fans come on during gaming, but they’re not as loud as my previous gaming laptop. With Windows 11 you can do more than just game. I use it for web browsing and editing office documents. The screen size makes it ideal for all of my computer needs. Battery life is pretty decent for a laptop with a screen of this size. It’s not as fast as my gaming desktop, but it’s good enough to take with me for travel.
