I've had this computer for a month now solely for playing the sim. This computer has met my needs for a gaming computer. Its perfect for me because I am a beginner when it comes to gaming computers.

Great display (bigger than I thought it would be), speakers and super freaking fast drive. Don't use it for games but for personal movie/picture conversions and watching streaming video. A bit heavy but not to bad.

Been running some graphic intense games and videos and this laptop has been flawless. Fires up quickly, runs smooth with no freezing, etc. I like the manual over ride on the cooling fan.

It's new and seems like a great computer. Used a Lenovo for 8 years that still is ok but wanted something faster for business applications. If this one last 5 years I would say well worth it.

This was purchase for my 9 year olds birthday. He wanted to use it for gaming, and we want him to use it for remote learning. Fabulous computer fulfilling both needs. Very user friendly.

I have only used this a handful of times in the last couple of months and am already having charging issues. I've used all kinds of mac and windows laptops/PC's and have never had battery issues like with this laptop.

I haven't had any issues, and that is impressive in itself given my poor luck with computers. I've been able to play my online games easily, and it's also worked well for my college courses.

Very good gaming laptop I can play the lates game in ultra mode graphics runs smooth the only con. I have is the Hard drive is to small for a gaming pc, I have to buy an app External Hard Drive which is another $80 plus, just keep this in mind. Just for that I gave it 4 stars

the wireless card keeps disconnecting, unfortunately it is intermittent and no obvious triggers. ( Not my internet connection dropping, as I am streaming with no lag or disconnect issues. ) Otherwise it has been quick and easy to use.

I got this computer to be able to do school work. I got this type of computer so that it will last for years and be able to handle everything I need to do while in school. Works really well.

Best laptop I’ve ever had and I love that’s it customizable and very fast for what it is definitely recommend it for the price point thank you Best Buy for always taking care of me !!!

This definitely is the biggest bang for your buck gaming laptop. It even works for the oculus rift. It does get hot but the fans are usually ample to keep it under max operating temp.

computer screen and resolution is excellant. large screen helps with work autocad and large spreadsheet work. computer speed and memory is great for work and amazing with gaming.

Computer works great out of the box. For a gaming laptop I don't see you getting much better for the price. The only modification I made was maxed out the RAM for multiprocessing.

great buy plays all my games and I stream with it did upgraded immediately though more ram and another drive. Very easy instalation make sure you get your ssd cable dont lose it.

The Nitro line of gaming laptops is made to provide a solid gaming experience on a budget. Simply put, it delivers. The design is beautiful and eye catching without being garish. The red accents and lighting make it clearly a gamer’s machine. Acer, like other manufacturers, uses plastics throughout the build to lessen the weight and keep things cool. The autofan kicks on when the processor is working hardest, and the rig remains fairly cool. The fans are loud, of course, but they do the job. Acer knows displays—no exception here he screen is no glare, rich, sharp, and quick. Battery life is decent at about four hours online playing. Much longer than higher end rigs. I noted no lag, and the dedicated graphics RAM kept up just fine. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality, and I can definitely recommend this as a budget gamer. One poor design choice—speakers are at the bottom and easily muffled, but most of us use headphones to play now anyway.

It’s attractive and functions as well as expected. Consumers Reports recommended as a “Best Buy.” Other more tech savvy friends told me it is a grest computer at a great price.

Great laptop. I mainly use to play WOW and it handles the game awesome. Not slow, very fast and makes playing a breeze. I would definitely recommend. Has a great screen with HD 1080p also.
