First of all if you’re looking for a budget friendly laptop this would be it! I play light games on this laptop and no complains so far! I’m loving the 17.3” screen!

It is an amazing gaming laptop for the price you are paying. Definitely recommend for anyone for their first actual gaming laptop.

Overall seems good so far, but I had to come here to warn people that the speakers are VERY quiet and a fairly low quality. You really need to be using a headset or plug in/bluetooth speakers. This is by far the worst speaker set I have ever seen in a laptop, especially a gaming one. To some people it doesnt matter, if you dont care about audio, then you wont have a problem. The computer is nice besides that.

I bought it for a Christmas gift. On Christmas Day he couldn't use it because the keyboard was not working. We returned it on 12/26/19 and they gave us another one. So far as of 1/25/20 its working really good, we already added a card for more memory.

Great laptop to use for gaming. It is larger so takes up a decent amount of space. The big screen is great for gaming though and being able to see everything.

Playing Roblox and Minecraft online has been a breeze and no complaints from my 11 year old. Doing homework on google classroom is such a plus with fast loading speeds.

I'm not a gamer. I use it for editing photos and general use. The photos I edit are Nikon RAW files that are very large. This computer handles the task with ease. Very fast.

For the money the hardware that comes with the price! high definition screen No 4k amazing work it for A laptop. Although I was disappointed cuz I didn't get my 3 months net root. As promised online, I feel Best buy should make up for that

Base model is good enough to start with, upgrading internals was fairly easy to do as well. Battery life is about what you would expect for a gaming laptop. Haven’t maxed out video card playing anything yet, but day to day use has been good.

Boots up quick, nice reaction time for games and other programs. Have had for about six weeks. Prefer the performance to my prior laptop from a different company.

I was looking for a laptop PC that I could use for a backup work from home computer in case something goes wrong with my main PC. I also wanted something that I could play some mid-range games if the occasion arises. In addition I didn't want to break the bank. This laptop fits the bill in all those categories. It's a little heavier and bigger than your standard laptop but that's to be expected with its 17" screen. With its sub $1k price, larger than average SSD, you can't go wrong with this piece of technology. So far no problems with it, seems like a quality made product.

This is an easy to use gaming laptop! I've used it everyday for a month and not one issue. It's lightweight with a long life battery. I would recommend it!

My 10 year old loves his new gaming laptop. He can figure out anything on this device.

So far runs anything I throw at it. Good value for the price. Would prefer the keyboard to light up a little brighter, but not a deal breaker.

Purchased an Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop for my son and it's has been as good as adversised. Amazingly fast and great features and color keyboard.

I downloaded drivers for frames and easily get over 100. I may be overclocking but what else is a gaming computer for other than performance.

The laptop is awesome. The only thing is the battery life isn't the greatest so you'd have to keep it plugged in especially while gaming or its going to die.
