Great game laptop with very good graphics. Good quality .

The laptop worked swimmingly until I had it a little more than a year. Then, it stopped wanting to turn on and the keyboard only worked for half the keys. After reading reviews and issues online, I opened the back of the laptop and found the keyboard ribbon was very loose. So, I set the ribbon back in place and everything was golden for another three months. However, I'm starting to have the same issue again. It's just really frustrating because it's time consuming to open it up and carefully adjust the ribbons. I'm not the only one with this issues, it seems. The manufacturer really needs to build these properly. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because this issue aside, it's a great laptop. So far, I've been able to fix the issue myself but I know many people would not be able to. Buyer be warned!

Relatively lightweight for a 17 in laptop. Fast boot due to the solid state drive. Annoying backlit keyboard feature that turns off the backlighting after 30 seconds of inactivity. Hard to see the keys without the backlight. Acer is working on a fix in the BIOS.

I would have to say overall I am very impressed with how fast this i5 processor operates. I have an older i7 (i7-3632QM) and this i5 blows it out of the water. I was unable to play games on Steam with my old laptop, but this one had no issues playing Planet Coaster. There was no lag in placing elements and ride in the parks I was building. The graphics card kept up with the games I play and never gave me any issues. So far I am quite happy with this Acer Nitro laptop. I like the 17” screen size, love having a dedicated keypad, and also enjoy the over all aesthetic look of the computer. The only personal annoyance I had was at start up, windows now wants you to create an account and log in to proceed with windows set up on the a computer. That doesn’t take away from the computer and it’s hardware, just a personal dislike. For my gaming needs this fits the bill and enjoy playing with this Acer Nitro Laptop.

I bought this laptop originally so I could play basic casual games such as Sims 4 as well as something to hold memory if I needed it for business use, along with basic internet usage. I've had the laptop for 3 months now and have enjoyed every bit of it until now, as I tried to turn the laptop on and nothing happened. I had the charger plugged into it so it wasn't dead. I looked up how to do a battery reset and did that , but still nothing. I took the back off and the laptop came on, but some keys weren't working. I shut down to reboot, and now its not coming back on again. I am now disappointed in this laptop and wasted 800 dollars.

Great little computer. Bought for more enjoyable quarantine experience. Oh comes with the extra little parts you’ll need to install a second drive, so save that! That Drive installation is easy, just search YouTube

Great 1st gaming laptop for my son! Easy to use and great response time. Games on Steam download fast and great quality. Thanks Best Buy for the advice and options on what to purchase based on my sons preference. Got it on sale also!

I've been using this for about 6 months. Runs games (WOW) well with no hesitation. I ended up using it for work for about 4 months until my other computer got repaired and it ran work software like a champ. Great graphics

The value and power of thus laptop is perfect for anyone not trying to break the bank, but want to game on the go. The keyboard feels great and I am able to play for hours on one charge. I am so happy I decided to pick this up when I was looking for a new laptop.

This was a good entry level but not enough specs for even some of the easiest games to use. had a lot of issues getting the laptop to use the GPU instead of the integrated graphics and required more knowledge then I think the average user has (IMO). Not bad but I wouldn't buy again

This laptop is pretty amazing. I love the 17” screen and the super fast ssd. I bought this for productivity/work stuff. I don’t play games at all and this thing runs photoshop and other apps very well. Definitely recommend this laptop!

My son loves it!!! The quality is very neat, easy to use.

I was skeptical at first when buying a Acer after using Toshiba for so long, however, I'm very happy with this laptop. Although it took some getting used to the red backlite keyboard, I don't even notice it anymore.

It's worth the price and very good sound comes with it..........

My first gaming PC/laptop in a decade. Have been able to play every game with no issues so far. Wish the keyboard was RGB and the power outlet was located elsewhere, but other than that its amazing to get all this in one package.

Perfect laptop for your teenage gamers. This will provide hours of top quality gaming experience without interruptions or slowdowns. Great video quality and audio. Good for social distancing while keeping friends together.
