Graphics card could be better, other that great computer

Bought the laptop not for gaming but for business. Really impressed with the specs and performance. hard to find a 17" laptop with these specs AND a 512Gb SSD at the sale price I got it for. So far it's run solid and reliable.

Our first laptop we had to exchange, it would not turn on. Second laptop worked fine for the first couple months. About once a week the audio doesn't work, we have to restart to laptop to get working again. Has a very good battery life though.

I needed a laptop to work from home and this has been a life saver. I use this for work and for the children's remote learning. It was def worth the money and I am thinking about getting another one for one of my sons.

so far I really like this laptop. Only thing I am not happy with is it wasn't updated prior to purchase and I have a screen glitch. It is a problem with the drivers according to Google. Becuase of Covid19 crap I have not been able to get it fixed.

I purchased this product, as it seemed to be a good value for the price, however within 6 months the computer would not consistently power on and then when it did, certain letters and numbers on the keyboard would not work. When I called Acer customer service to report the issues, the only option they would allow me was to send the computer in for repair. After about a week and a half I received the computer back. Everything seems to be ok but frankly I am nervous and not happy at all that I have to hold onto a once defective product that could in reality malfunction again and then I’m going to be stuck with a poor product that I didn’t even want to have after 6 months!!!

This is a good gaming computer. It’s pretty sturdy

Got this unit for son's birthday. It has a really good and big 17" screen and a nice dedicated GeForce RTX 1650 and a nice core i-5 great to play a lot of triple a tittle games at decent specs.

My son was so excited to receive what was supposed to be his first laptop for his 10th birthday last Tuesday! This one was defective out of the box. Only about 3 keys worked on the keyboard! So we spent 2 hours in the Best Buy parking lot only to find we could not exchange it and had to order a new one. So they refunded me, but I was unable to reorder it at that time because they said it was going to take up to 3 days for my money to go back into my bank account, which the Best Buy employee had neglected to tell me before returning it. I was able to reorder it the next day and the replacement arrived about 3 hours ago. The keyboard worked long enough for me to enter all of my personal information at which point the keyboard crapped out and now about 1/3 of the keys aren't functional. Rebooted-->Nada. My kid is now beside himself and I am furious. Two laptops with non-working keyboards!!! Whatever happened to Quality Control???

I absolutely love it. I can run Moden Warfare on high everything even Black ops. I have and external monitor hooked up and it runs my games at 1440p at 144 hertz on high like a champ

This machine is great, handles everything I’ve tossed at it thus far. Looking forward to upgrading the RAM, although for most games out currently it is not necessary. Plays Modern Warfare very well.

This laptop is great, big screen, great graphics cars, fast and a relatively quiet processor, I also love its color, black with red lighting keyboard, It has USB's and other important ports. Its great

I'm typically not one to throw around one star reviews, but this model absolutely deserves it. It has a serious design flaw with the keyboard. Out of the box, most of the keys do not work. After looking around on the Internet it seems this is a common issue with this model, with many reporting the exact same problem in the reviews here, elsewhere and on Acer's support forums. Many see it out of the box, but some have it happen later. Acer's support runs you through the standard run around, reset it, reset the battery, update Windows (how can I do that if I can't even connect to wifi if my passwords doesn't contain only the 5 keys that do work?), factory reset - then have you ship it back to them to repair. A brand new laptop needing to be shipped to be repaired. No thanks. I'm not usually one to hold a defect against a company as a whole as these things do happen, but the frequency of this problem means this model should have been recalled off the market MONTHS ago, but they are still actively selling it. It's not about whether you have a defect, it is about how the company deals with it. Now I'm back to finding a good laptop for my disappointed son, but the one thing I do know is it will NOT be an Acer. Don't make the mistake I did, look at the frequency of reviews that report this issue. I was lucky and it happened right away, and Best Buy took the return back with no issue (props to them for good service). But, buy a different laptop.

I needed a laptop with large sharp display and fast processing speed. This unit fits the bill perfectly. Note my first purchase had a defective keyboard. I returned it to Best Buy hassle free.

Shipping was great, got it the next day but.... as soon as i got everything plugged in and ready to go, it wont turn on. After 10 mins of messing with the power button, it started! Yay!! Then durning the new start up, i couldn't type any full words! Half the keyboard doesnt respond, now what! Guess head out to try this curbside return and hope, exchange hopefully and hope i dont get another bad one!! Will update after i can finally use it. This is more of a manufacturing problem and not best buy.

Right now Acer or Asus are the best Laptop gaming option price /quality on the market. I am glad that i could get this on the best price of the market. I love bestbuy for this reason. Thanks

It brings all the necessary components to work video game programming and study and in addition to that it brings the spaces to be able to expand all its added value.

This was the second laptop. The first one was dead on arrival. Best buy was great we returned it and a few days later a new one arrived and works great. Happy with purchase.

My fiancé uses this computer for some light gaming and to do all of the stuff for the house. I would highly recommend it! Very quick start up, amazing clock speed.

Love this Laptop! Boots up quickly from shut down, navigates well. Much happier with this than my Lenova I purchased not to long ago for work. Recommend to all!
