Very disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for like 3 months and then all of a sudden there is a diagonal black speck on the screen. I can't tell if it's a messed up pixel, or if dust got under there or what is going on but it's super annoying and disappointing. I took good care of this monitor so far so this should not have happened. Best buy only has a 15-day return policy. And I hear that the warranty probably won't cover this because there is a limit that you have to go over of messed up pixels before they will fix it. I also don't have time to wait around for a new monitor so it looks like I just have to buy another one now.

We are sorry you are unhappy with your Acer monitor speakers. Most monitors don’t come with speakers built-in because this would add size, weight, and price. In most cases monitors are connected to a desktop PC that already has an audio source connected, or a laptop that has built-in audio. Additionally, monitors with built in speakers are generally very low wattage, ie: 1W-2W; most users would prefer a more robust sound system via powered USB speakers or headphones for best quality sound. We hope that otherwise the monitor is meeting your needs.

You will need to change the cable for pc gaming

The hdmi cable is not strong/fast enough to transfer your data to the monitor without black pixels popping up randomly. I had to buy a display port cable to fix the problem. I had it hooked up to my 4070 and i had issues until i had to change the cable. I think there are better monitors though this one had a built in speaker.

We are sorry you are unhappy with your Acer Nitro monitor. This Nitro XF243Y M3bmiiprx has two HDMI and one DP port, but does not have USB ports, and is not advertised as having these ports. If the image you saw was a customer provided photo, it would appear Best Buy may have posted the incorrect image for the XF243Y M3bmiiprx.
