I hadn't replaced my monitor since 2008. Man what a difference. Sharp, clear, crisp video. I do photography and I should've upgraded a long time ago. Made a huge difference in my editing. Make sure you have a good video card to take advantage of monitor.

its a decent screen. for the price its a great 2nd or 3rd monitor but don't count on it for being a great gaming/entertainment screen. some ghosting and it does hurt the eyes a bit

I would be pleased with this monitor, but have to reconfigure the monitor each time (by hitting the auto configure button at the bottom right) it is turned on in order to be able to see the entire screen. Very irritating.

It's a good monitor for computer use and has great response time. Only downfall is watching movies on screen. The pixels seem to "trail" when there is movement. Not too noticeable though.

Great monitors for the price. They are quite small, and yet the stands could provide more support. Overall I am pleased with these monitors.

Quit working not even 2 weeks after purchase. If not for the return policy, it would have been a complete waste of money.

A great monitor at any price, but $69 (sale) WOW!

After reading reviews I had concerns. Once I plugged this in (connected to a MacBook Air 11.6 " screen) I am amazed at the picture quality. Some concerns people have had for the image being washed out is simply a function of ANY low reflective (matte finish) screen. I work with a window behind me and this removes all reflection while still giving me a bright sharp image, and with many adjustments as well as pre-set options. Also the viewing angle is great. My only complaint is that I found the settings buttons a bit confusing, and since they are not labelled I stuck my own tags onto the monitor. I am guessing that the volume setting is part of the software also used on monitors with speakers, though at first I thought it had them, given the two grills on the bottom of the encasing. But nowhere in the manual are speakers mentioned. Also it is easy to assemble, though lacking adequate instructions and has some adjustability of the monitor on its base. By the way, I was fooled by the description, thinking it came with both VGA and DVI cables, but only VGA. I found a (remember I have a Mac!) thunderbolt to DVI (6' cable) on BestBuy.com and other sites for $7.99.

    Lag is very noticeable...

8 ms may not sound like a lot, but it isn't enough. This monitor noticeably lags when scrolling webpages to the point that it's somewhat distracting. Else, the monitor is good: bright, no dead pixels, good color. If you're looking at static images, then great, but if you want *actual* "quick response time," I'd look elsewhere. At $69.99, it's a decent value, but response time is definitely sub-par and borderline unacceptable. Recommended at this price and not a penny more.

Only good as second 'menu' monitor

Bought this when it was on sale for $50... can't really say it was even worth that. The ghosting on it is ridiculous for gaming. It's really, really bad for any fast paced game. The specs say 8ms response time but some how I doubt it. The blacks are below average. I have this next to an older 19" Acer that's not LED back-lit and the blacks on it are measurably darker. The big disappointment is no HDMI. I suppose you get what you pay for. This will just be a secondary 'menu' monitor on my system.
