If your tv is placed in a spot where your cable box isn't - here's the solution!

Purchased this item to be used to have my big screen tv for football games on the fore deck on my houseboat. Easy set up , others boat owners have purchased this item for the same use on their boats. Great price , great product, user friendly without additional cable wires everywhere. This product is a must have if you have a houseboat.

This Actiontec hdmi Wireless transmitter is great, couldn't believe how fast and simple the installation was.

Until cable can shoot wireless to my tv...this is the next best thing! Takes a few seconds to boot up...but the the signal is strong.

Fine when it works, but it has to be rebooted too often. I purchased it to link a TV on my patio to the indoor cable box approximately 15 feet away. Installation was easy and I was able to get it to work within 15 minutes. The problem is that it would stop working every few days and I would lose signal on both TV's. After contacting tech support 4 times in the first 2 weeks, I learned that the fix was to unplug it for 10 seconds to reboot the device, but that only fixed it temporarily and the reboot had to be repeated every few days. I am returning the product and waiting until they work out the bugs.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Put a TV in a location that I wanted and all I needed was a wall outlet.

installs easily and worked perfectly and is low profile

There is a small delay in the wireless signal at even about 8 feet away. Enough so that we decided to go a different route with our setup. I am still using the product but only for the IR blaster capability so I can hide the cable box in the basement with a long in-wall HDMI cable running to the wall mounted flat screen. Not the cheapest solution for that, but I already had this so cheaper than spending more money on something else. Has been working great for just that function.

I was so pleased to be able to set up a TV in a guest room for temporary use, without the ordeal and time and mess of getting yet another cable run in my large house. Physically I can't run a cable myself and having someone in to do it is hard to arrange due to my busy schedule. So at first, the setup on this seemed really easy, because video was up within minutes. But audio isn't. And from what I read, there's a hard to overcome conflict with comcast / xfinity. Something about a handshake. At suggestion of a second Best Buy employee, I tried to resolve it with settings on my TV, but no luck. I don't have more time to mess with it and my guest has come and gone. Disappointed that the first Best Buy person didn't warn me about this.

Installed this in a business where they source and tv were about 200 ft away. The image was clear and consistent. Would use again

It worked perfectly for what I needed but I could never get the IR to work correctly. It would never sync. Otherwise I would like this item

Wanted tv in master bathroom but couldn't install cable outlet so purchased this product and voila. Their product support was outstanding when I had question about installing. Installation was super easy so much so I thought I was doing it wrong. Works perfectly

Could use better signal strength occasionally I get lag. Use this from inside to outside kitchen.

This product made connecting my receiver to my projector super easy. There is a slight lag from audio to visual that can be adjusted thru your bluray player and/or receiver. Still a great buy and there is an HDMI output on the transmitter which helps connects multiple TVs

We put a TV outside to watch the Superbowl and didn't have a cable connection. This solved the problem and it worked perfectly.

Was really skeptical about getting wireless transmitters. Could not run cables like I wanted in the house so I opted for these. Got the transmitter upstairs and the receiver downstairs. So far the video connection is great. No disconnections or video loss yet.

Simple, easy to install, works fine! Used it to hook up an outdoor TV. Replaced old one damaged by lightning

Not bad. Convenient. Sometimes cuts out briefly. No big deal. A little pricey.
