Should be trivially easy to set up, but that wasn't the case for me. I had to call support and took us 30 minutes to get it to work (ended up having to swap the HDMI cables, which makes no sense). When I first turn on the TV I have connected to the receiver it takes a couple of minutes with a blank screen. Then I get sound, and then a minute later I get video. When it works. Which is about 6 days a week, but there are days that the video cuts in and out and it's basically unwatchable. I'm using it in my RV to get video from my main room to the bedroom. Maybe 15 feet and no walls between them. I've tried one other product and it wasn't any better so I've stuck with this one.

Picture quality is ok when using this device. However I went back to HDMI connections because the audio sync is horrible. The audio and picture would fall out of sync after being on for only a few minutes and the devices were less than 10 feet apart.

Simple to set up and works well with no degradation or latency issues. I installed the units in the same room to relocate the TV on the opposite wall to the cable box. Total distance only 14 feet so haven't installed the IR echo back sensors.

This does what it says it does. This helps get a signal back to my dvr.

I guess this would be a problem for any wireless solution for transmitting HD content even over a distance of 30 feet with three drywalls in the path. Hence resorted to other products that use ethernet to transmit HD. That worked just fine. I routed the ethernet cable through the attic.

I use this equipment on TVs in a part of the house where I do not cable. Great equipment. Excellent reception. I relocate between two TVs. Could be improved if Actiontec would provide a configuration of one transmitter and multiple receivers.

There are times when this thing doesn’t work and I have to pull out the HDMI and put it back in. If it keeps failing may have to purchase another type of wireless connection.

I bought this to set up a remote monitor in my garage using a wireless keyboard and mouse. Both of those peripherals work fine but the connectvity can be spotty. There is also some input lag which varies. Not quite good enough for my use. Also tried using it at my girlfriends place to connect to a computer on the ground floor. Still occasionally spotty reception even with no walls in the way. If your just beaming TV to the otherside of an open room its passable for that use but could use more reliable/faster connections.

We wanted tv in Master bathroom but prevented from adding cable outlet. Great expert at Best Buy suggested this product and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend. We have also used on tv when wanting to catch Saturday football while hanging around our pool.

The techs at work say they work effectively on the RV's at work.

Our cable outlet was on the opposite wall from where the TV was to be mounted. Instead of having to do another cable drop, we were able to send the signal across the room using this product. The technician from Geek Squad is the one that told us about it.

My issue was related to ease of formatting for the TV ratio. I'm a reasonably tech-savvy person and I could find no good way to match the PC's format to the monitor bring used. However, I'm confident that it would be a great device for entertainment devices e.g. Blu Ray, etc.

This was the worst idea ever for a product. It has such limited capabilities and just wasn't worth it. I'll start with the pros, it does come with two small HDMI cords, which does save you money. Now for the bad. The signal doesn't go very far. And if you have walls/floors/ceilings it limits the signal even more. So if you live in a giant house with one floor and no walls this is great for you. The price is also ridiculous if you need your signal not to far away. We returned it and ended up just buying a 20 foot HDMI cord that went from our security system to a tv on the floor above. Worked great and only cost about $20.

It does better than the one I had. I have had to rest it a couple of times. There is a lag in the audio. I can hear the TV in the other room and it causes an echo effect, other than that does what I needed.

East to install, provided all necessary cables and instructions.

I was looking for wireless video alternative for my man cave to supply two tv's from a single source. This device works well for running dual video. The only issue is that I occasionally have to restart the transmitter when the video acts funny.

Best invention ever. It saved me from purchasing another tv

I didn't want to wire cable to my outdoor patio. This was a great solution. Only thing that doesn't make it perfect is whatever TV I have it hooked up to inside is on same channel. I wish Comcast had wireless cable boxes but this solved my dilemma.
