Keeps dropping out on either end only 20 feet away

This replaced my original Mywireless which worked fine for years. This set was installed in the same configuration as the old one with the transmitter passing the signal through to the main TV, and the receiver on a remote TV 20 feet away with no obstructions. It works when you set it up, but after either TV is turned off a couple times, either the main TV gets no signal, or the remote TV gets snow. On either end, unplugging the HDMI cable from the Mywireless box and plugging it back in restores the signal. Awful replacement.

Works alright with no walls

Worked ok for the first 2 weeks. There was a slight video delay since I was running the audio directly to a receiver. That was liveable. After the 2 weeks, though, I have not been able to get the transmitter and receiver to talk. Have tried ideas from the forums, but nothing has worked so far.
